It is an incredibly complex system of boundaries that we will need to decide to cross or not. And given the current state of the world, I think that whatever direction we go in, the scariest thing is not what we will be able to do or not. There are several layers to go through: :arrow_right:The scientific community is for the most part extremely competent and well informed, and ethical. The development of the technology and priorities is in safe hands. :arrow_right:The people running companies that will make billions out of it ? Not so much. :arrow_right:But the politicians that will decide what is legal or not ? Extremely well equipped and informed to handle such an important and complex subject. In these days where personal opinions, party line and political donations are much more important than facts, truth and ethics, this spells for a total disaster.
