Basically, diamonds' value to people is entirely a marketing stunt. However one of the final claim "It's not because it was made by marketing that it is bullshit. Just see how many people believe in it" is really bullshit.

It's totally unethical. It's been clearly put there in order not to offend the industry people interviewed. But the value of something is not related to how many people believe in it. Even if marketing, propaganda, disinformation convince people of something, that does not turn a lie into truth. It is wrong and even very dangerous to claim so.
