YIP MUNG SIK and SUNG MAN TANG, apprentices of the Flying Fish Heights, rush to Able Village to stop the Good Way and Evil Way from fighting with each other. YAU TUEN TO of Wong Shan Clique is suddenly killed. MASTER DEATH WISH claims that he is the murderer. LEE PO YEE, an expert in physiognomy reading, is a good friend of WISH’s. He tries to help by carrying out an investigation at a brothel. There, YEE sees a man with a mask. He also learns from the prostitutes there that this masked man has enquired about the whereabouts of TSUN YIN WANG, a kung-fu master from Ngan Dong Sect. SIK finds YEE strange and follows him all the way to a theatre. YEE doesn’t want SIK to disturb him. He attacks her vital point so that she cannot move. The masked man shows up again. YEE fights with him at the back of the theatre. All of a sudden, a strange breeze blows over the theatre. WANG goes blind and finally dies of a heart rupture.… ...
YEE runs after the masked man all the way to the forest. The masked man reveals that he is the apprentice of the God of Medicine, and that his name is LAI YEUK YEE. He claims that the three kung-fu experts were killed by the Heart Devil. He was only trying to help them with his needles. Before YEUK YEE leaves, he tells YEE that two more kung-fu masters will be killed soon. TANG and his fellow apprentice YIP CHOR SUM report to their master, SHUM SING NAM, that three kung-fu experts have been killed. NAM reveals that the three experts were the representatives of the Good Way who are going to join the Golden Seal Battle. He also points out that TANG and MAN CHING LAU who is from Tim Chong Clique are the other two remaining representatives on the list. A girl from the brothel and her grandfather are being tormented by someone on the street.… ...
SIK is seriously hurt and becomes unconscious. LAU is defeated by the Heart Devil. His heart bursts. SUM begs YEUK YEE to save SIK but YEUK YEE doesn’t show any response. YEE tries to satisfy YEUK YEE by playing with him. YEUK YEE finally agrees to help. YEE uses his needles to save SIK. SIK has finally woken up. She recalls the terrible experience of seeing horrible images in her mind after she had been attacked by the Heart Devil. YEE and YEUK YEE try to think of a way to fight against the hypnosis that the Heart Devil uses. The Heart Devil attacks TANG. YEE stuns TANG and fights against the Heart Devil with YEUK YEE. NAM comes to their help when they are almost defeated. They win the fight finally. Before he dies, the Heart Devil tells them that "Evil grows, Good subsides". YEE recalls then that his master had asked him to prevent the omen "Evil grows, Good subside" from happening before he died. NAM’s wife MAI CHIM returns.… ...
CHIM looks like YEE’s first lover LAN. NAM calls for a meeting with the leaders from different cliques of the Good Way in order to select some new representatives for the Golden Seal Battle. YEE suggests selecting the traitors of each clique to be the new representatives but is told that he is not qualified to speak in the meeting. TANG has recovered but he looks worried. He tells YEE that he had killed a fellow apprentice in order to gain success and fame long time ago. YEE consoles him but it doesn’t work. TANG is so ashamed of himself that he finally commits suicide in Cliff Penitence. YEE bumps into CHIM in the cliff. CHIM admits to him that she is LAN. She tells him that she left YEE without saying a word because she had already been engaged to NAM before meeting him. SIK overhears their conversation. The apprentices of Tim Chong and Ngan Dong Cliques have been ambushed.… ...
SIK is trapped inside the medicine-making room of Chu Kot Pun Li, who is regarded as the Devil Doc. Li forces SIK to try his new poisonous drugs. YEE arrives on time to her rescue. Leaders of the Good Way and the Evil Way are having a meeting at Fei Loi Peak. HONG MANG CHUN, deputy of Heavenly Desire Palace, gives some poisonous drugs to the leaders of the Good Way. KO SHU TIN, leader of Heavenly Desire Palace, arrives late and blames CHUN for breaking the agreement between the two Ways by carrying out immoral acts. He kills CHUN and promises to postpone the Golden Seal Battle for 3 months. NAM asks YEE to search for the long-lost kung-fu experts to represent the Good Way in the Golden Seal Battle. Unfortunately, YUE MONG NGO, the only one who knows where to find the experts, is killed by the Evil Way. YEE only finds 5 prescriptions on NGO’s dead body.… ...
YEUK YEE tries to urge LOI to tell the truth by using his charm. YEE arrives at a gallery. He suspects that one of the paintings belong to SHU. He stays outside the shop to wait for the one who sold the painting to the shop. During his stay, YEE learns from the villagers that many brides have disappeared after passing by the Red River Valley. They believe that the monster of the mountain has seized the brides away. The daughter of the village head is getting married. YEE follows the bridal sedan chair team all the way to the Red River Valley. Suddenly, a wisp of white smoke appears and the bride disappears. Bat Au-yeung urges YEUK YEE to kill YEE as soon as possible. He also claims that he has got a spy in the Good Way. YEE discovers that the one who sold the painting is MAN SIU SHAN, LOI’s stepson. The village head believes in the words of a Taoist and decides to offer a girl to the monster by throwing her in the river.… ...
YEE believes that the monster is a kung-fu expert. From his experience and what SHAN says, YEE believes that the monster is SHU. SHU locks the brides up in a secret chamber. One of the brides pretends to be ill so that SHU will go out to look for a doctor. SIK wants to seize this opportunity to escape and release all the brides but fails. SHU reveals to SIK that he had fallen in love with a woman before the Golden Seal Battle 5 yeas ago. However, the woman betrayed him. He had lost all his standing and reputation. A prominent scar had left on his face, too. LOI kicks YEE and YEUK YEE out of her inn. She then makes delivery in the mountain alone. YEUK YEE has put some medical powder on her goods so as to follow her to SHU’s place. SHU misconceives that LOI has double crossed him. He seizes her away. He asks YEE to bring KONG PIK LING, the woman who betrayed him, to him in exchange for LOI’s life.… ...
SHU wants to kill YEE and take revenge for LING. YEE blames SHU for returning evil for good. SHU suddenly realizes the reality and is enlightened. Later, SHU is relieved to discover that LING and her family members are still alive. SHU agrees to join the Golden Seal Battle. YEE manages to decode another prescription. He presumes that kung-fu expert CHENG TO YIN is at Purple Glow Mountain. HUNG discovers that KWOK TAI KONG, the leader of Kut Chong Clique, is keeping contact with TIN’s subordinate MAN KAU KUNG. She rushes to fight with KUNG but is pushed onto the grass. A fellow apprentice of hers rushes to take her away. HUNG tells NAM that KONG has colluded with the Evil Way but NAM doesn’t believe in her. HUNG is angry. She leaves a note and leaves home. YEE and the others arrive at Ghost Wail Wood. They are trapped in the 5 hidden formation set up by TIN’s subordinates HONG SUET KWAN, CHEUNG HANG SAU and SAU NG FA.… ...
YEE uses white magic to escape from the ice trap. He returns to the cave to look for SIK and the others. SIK scolds YEUK YEE for betraying them. YEUK YEE tries to get the Ultimate Medicine from Bat Au-yeung in order to cure his older brother LAI YEUK LONG, who is suffering from Premature Degeneration. YEUK YEE runs into great debt in gambling. As requested by YEE earlier, LOI comes to help him out. KWAN and the others have set a Spider Formation to trap YEE and the others. YEUK YEE suddenly arrives to their rescue. Worrying that the people from Heavenly Desire Palace will harm LONG, YEUK YEE rushes back home. YEUK YEE is ambushed. He arrives at LOI’s inn to recuperate. YEE hits the road again. On the way, he meets a Taoist who is looking for children’s urine. YEE follows him to his temple. The Taoist reveals to him that he is CHENG TO YIN and his name is Taoist DRY WOOD now.… ...
CHIM has rescued HUNG. She promises to help the Head Guard to find the stolen Warm Jade. CHIM suspects that the robber is WOOD by the scent he left. YEE sets a trap to draw the robber out. WOOD appears and reveals that the secret of the medicine for longevity is hidden in the Warm Jade. YEE decodes the hidden secret. On the jade, he finds the map to the tomb of TSU FOOK, whom Emperor Tsun ordered to look for the medicine for longevity. They go to the tomb, where they see BAT AU YEUNG and LI in a chamber. BAT AU YEUNG takes CHIM hostage and threatens them to hand over the Warm Jade. While YEE hesitates, the chivalrous robber YUK FU YUNG suddenly shows up. YEE and YEUK YEE seize the chance to beat off BAT AU-YEUNG. WOOD finds his long-lost master in another chamber. His master is trapped by some vines. While trying to untie the vines, WOOD touches the button of the self-destruction set up.… ...
YEE says goodbye to CHIM. CHIM takes HUNG and SUM back to Flying Fish Heights. YEE and the others go west. They run into Ranger CHOW TSZ. TSZ is a righteous man. He kills his cousin who uses his name to commit crimes. He reveals to YEE and the others how he lost his job as a ranger because of YUNG. TSZ finds a scar on LOI’s hand. He suspects that she is YUNG. He tries to look for another scar underneath her sleeve but there is not any. LOI’s mother-in-law, MAN LI FONG, is attacked by some bandits in the wood. TSZ, who passes by, saves her. FONG pours her heart out to him, telling him her son had saved LOI’s life before she married him. FONG wants TSZ to test if LOI cares about her. TSZ agrees to give her a hand. He sends a letter of challenge to LOI, claiming that he has caught FONG. LOI has no choice but to accept the challenge in the name of YUNG. TSZ realizes that LOI only stole for the people.… ...
YEE persuades TSZ into letting go of the past. TSZ finally decides to release LOI. YEE finds that much of YEUK YEE’s hair has come off recently. He divines for YEUK YEE. He gets an unlucky diagram. On their way back to Flying Fish Heights, CHIM meets the number one killer LAU FAN YUE who has killed many people in the Good Way. HUNG follows him to arrest him. However, she is discovered. YUE takes CHIM and SUM away. SIK has got CHIM’s signal for help. She comes to their rescue on time. BAT AU-YEUNG wants to invite YUE to join the Evil Way. He takes YUE to Heavenly Desire Palace to see TIN. When they get there, TIN is punishing SHAU, a mole who has betrayed him. SIK takes TSZ to Flying Fish Heights to meet NAM. NAM has found out that SIK has taken up the blame for HUNG. He promises to let her return to the sect when the time is right. TSZ meets the leaders of the Good Way. He believes that KONG was not the one who betrayed them.… ...
YEUK YEE hears some strange noise and faints. He and YEE are finding the way out of the deep valley when they see a giant earthworm that they can use to cure YEUK YEE’s brother. YEE watches the constellation at night. He spots that a Chik Mong star has gone west. He predicts that someone in Flying Fish Heights will be killed. He rushes back to help. TIN has asked somebody to deliver the head of HANG to NAM. NAM is enraged to find the symbol of YUE on the head. TSZ reveals to SIK that TAI is not the mole of the Evil Way. SIK follows TSZ to conduct an investigation at the bottom of the cliff. They find TAI’s dead body and discover that he was killed by the Red Sand Palm Strike, which is an unusual school of kung fu. YUE sneaks into Flying Fish Heights and seizes away a few apprentices. NAM runs after him to rescue his apprentices, only to know later that this is actually a trap. He rushes back to find that TSZ has died.… ...
YUE and HUNG have been rescued by some fishermen. TIN has to go downhill. He appoints LI to be the acting master during his absence. KWAN and the others are not pleased for his arrangement for they believe that BAT AU-YEUNG is a more suitable person for it. HUNG and YUE are robbed by KONG YAM TWINS. They molest HUNG. YUE goes up to protect her. YEU carries a doll with him all the time. HUNG asks him the reason but he doesn’t answer her. YUE is deeply touched that HUNG risks her life to pick up the doll for him. FA and KWAN want to kill YUE. YEE arrives on time to save him. YUE wants to have a duel with YEE. YEE covers his eyes and attacks YUE with a sword, claiming that YUE no longer has nine lives now. SIK is upset to see SUM care so much about HUNG. SIK follows YEE’s advice and follows him to search for the kung-fu experts. YEE wants to look for the SWORD COLLECTOR with WISH but WISH has not shown up.… ...
YEE sees the twin brother of the SWORD COLLECTOR, KUK FUNG-TSIN, giving away food to the people on Leprosy Island. YEE asks him to persuade his brother to represent the Good Way in the Golden Seal Battle but is turned downed. YEUK YEE couldn’t find the other herbs for curing his brother. He resorts to drink. LOI consoles him. KUK takes YEE and SIK to the West Village to look for WISH. The moon has turned away. KUK leaves in a hurry. YEE and SIK have finally found WISH. KUK tells them that his brother catches lepers for sword-making. YEE sees that KUK’s arm is injured and finds him suspicious. On hearing about SIK’s past, WISH believes that SIK is his legitimate daughter. LOI hurts herself while she is looking for herbs for YEUK YEE. YEUK YEE is touched. SUM and his fellow apprentices have arrived to catch YUE. HUNG and YUE point their sword at each other. NAM meets TIN secretly.… ...
YEUK YEE is looking for the Thousand Year Ling-zhi. He slips and falls down from the hills. LOI arrives on time to save him. LONG realizes that LOI is fond of YEUK YEE. He asks YEUK YEE to cherish LOI. SHAN is poisoned to unconsciousness. YEUK YEE uses a dog to work on a cure. SHAN’s life is saved. KUK has gone mad. He has caught some lepers to the Black Water Spring and uses their blood to make swords. SIK tries to rescue the lepers but is caught by KUK as well. YEE doesn’t see SIK at the pier. He believes that something bad must have happened. He meets up with YEUK YEE and together they go looking for SIK. They find a dead body on the way. Taking a closer look at the body, YEE comes to the conclusion that it is KUK. SIK sees KUK’s sword in the Black Water Spring. The sword has emitted a spell over her. She loses her senses and wants to kill the lepers. YEUK YEE pretends to be KUK.… ...
TIN and YEE have a fight. TIN wants to kill YEE but his strength is weakened by YEE’s Basaltic Spar. The Sword Collector has come to his senses. He destroys his sword and agrees to join the Golden Seal Battle. YEUK YEE has found one of the 7 Extremes – Dragon’s Teeth which is believed can cure his brother, near the Black Water Spring. SIK overhears WISH and YEE’s conversation. She is shocked to know that WISH is her father. WISH asks YEE to tell SIK’s fortune by providing him her birth date and time. YEE finds that SIK’s father should be someone who is powerful and valiant, which cannot be WISH. Li’s mother, LUI FUNG CHI, was poisoned a few years ago. He asks YEUK YEE to cure her and he will give him 2 of the 7 Extremes, which are the Fire of the Snow Mountain and Midnight Dew. YEUK YEE uses his needles to treat CHI. CHI has woken up. But she vomits blood afterwards then passes out again. LI is enraged.… ...
LI believes that it was KUNG and the others who have poisoned his mother. TIN learns about it, too. LI pays respect for LONG. In order to take a revenge for LONG, YEE insists to fight with him. TIN promises to make YUE the new chief if he kills YEE. HUNG meets YUE at Cliff Penitence. Both of them want to kill each other but they just cannot do it. YEE and the others bump into kung-fu expert HONG SIU YING at Ng Chung Town. YING lives in seclusion as a butcher. YEE and WISH pretend to be bandits and take away SIK. YING follows them all the way to the temple to save SIK. SIK makes YING agree to help them in the Golden Seal Battle. LOI learns that the 7th Extreme, the Spring of Desire, is inside Heavenly Desire Palace. LOI makes YEUK YEE some drugged soup to prevent him from taking part in the battle. LOI goes to Heavenly Desire Palace on her own to look for the Spring of Desire. As a matter of fact, YEUK YEE knew that LOI would do so.… ...
LOI tries to break into Heavenly Desire Palace but to no avail. KWAN and the others chase after her. CHI tells YEUK YEE that she treated a person from the Good Way several years ago. That person returned evil for good after his recovery and poisoned her. YEE practices face reading so as to get closer to SIU YEE. He wants to persuade her to join the Golden Seal Battle with YING. YING is inspired by SIK and decides to join the Golden Seal Battle alone, even without his wife SIU YEE’s support. SIU YEE has a fight with YING when she knows that he is taking part in the battle. YEE accuses SIK of minding others’ business. Now that he will not have the couple’s help in using the Unity Sword. SIK retorts that YEE is too full of himself. YEE and SIK think over what they have each done. They decide to reconcile with each other. Together, they manage to solicit the help of YING and SIU YEE. TIN promises to teach YEUK YEE another method which he can get the spring water if YEUK YEE joins the Evil Way. YING subsidizes the living expenses of a village woman every month. Suspecting that he has committed adultery, SIU YEE checks it out and realizes that it is only a misunderstanding. SIK suggests to YING that she could write the letter of divorce for him. Taoist HIU YUET from Wong Shan Clique pays a visit to YING. He blames YING for having no affections towards his wife. He starts a fight. SIU YEE, who returns home, fights against him with YING with the Unity Sword. The visit of Taoist HIU YUET is actually arranged by YEE as a way to patch up the couple. The couple agrees to take part in the Golden Seal Battle together. YEE looks at WISH’s birth charts. He confirms that SIK is not WISH’s daughter.… ...
TIN is shocked that YEE has broken into Heavenly Desire Palace. He worries that YEE has mastered the Tai Yuet Power. NAM flies into a rage when he learns that HUNG goes out with YUE. HUNG misconceives that CHIM has disclosed her secret to NAM. Out of anger, she reveals to NAM that CHIM was in love with YEE before she married NAM. CHIM explains to NAM at once. Leaders of the four major Good Sects celebrate YEE's triumphant return. NAM takes this chance to welcome SIK back to his sect. HUNG is betrothed to SUM unwillingly. She goes down the hill to meet YUE secretly but is caught by the leaders of the four major sects. The four leaders force NAM to punish HUNG and hand over his chairman title. SUM reveals his love to SIK but SIK rejects him. SUM is very sad and says that SIK has fallen in love with YEE. NAM hints SUM that he will pass his leader role to SUM after his marriage; SUM is overjoyed.… ...
NAM chases after HUNG and YUE with a group of apprentices. HUNG reveals to NAM that she wants to stay with YUE forever. NAM is enraged and beat YUE. YEE risks his life to save HUNG and YUE. NAM is injured and returns to the Flying Fish Heights. He announces to all sect leaders that he has disowned HUNG. YEE brings YUE to YEUK YEE for treatments. He also returns the debts to the pub for TSZ. YEE finds a letter from TSZ before his death. In the letter, TSZ revealed that the spy from the evil cults is staying at Flying Fish Heights. TIN promises to give great reward to the one who can deliver YUE's head to him. Some evil people come to YEUK YEE's inn to look for YUE. YEUK YEE helps YUE and HUNG to escape secretly. Two evil men chase after YUE and HUNG all the way to the cliff. HUNG takes out YEE's emergency instructions and jumps from the cliff with YUE.
NAM nominates SUM to replace TSZ in joining the Golden Seal Battle but HIU says that YEE is a better option. Everybody agree with HIU and YEE accepts the invitation. YEE reveals to SIK that he knew that TSZ was carrying out investigation before his death. SIK brings him to the TAI's grave to continue the investigation but TAI's body is missing. NAM accepts CHIM's advice and asks YEE to search for HUNG with his Magical Crystal. However, YEE couldn't find the exact location of HUNG and YUE. In the night, NAM dresses in black and tails after YEE to an old temple. NAM has fallen into YEE's trap and his secret is revealed. He is enraged and uses Red Sand Palm Strike to hit YEE. On the other hand, YEUK YEE uses his needles to control parts of NAM's body movements. YEE believes that NAM will approach Li for treatments so he goes to Hot River Spring. YEE and SIK meet TIN at Hot River Spring. TIN beats YEE and tries to kill SIK.… ...
TIN doesn't believe in YEE. He snatches YEE's Magical Crystal to test if his words are true. SIK cannot face the reality and she refuses to have TIN as her father. YEUK YEE discovers that NAM tries to put toxic substance in CHIM's flower in order to harm YEE. TIN asks Li to bring SIK back from the Flying Fish Heights. NAM is shocked and he refuses to hand over SIK to Li . YEE and YEUK YEE worry that NAM is having another evil plan. NAM meets TIN and promises to return SIK to him after killing YEE. All leaders of virtuous sects suddenly fight with each other on trivial things. NAM's apprentices suddenly fight with each other, too. YEE knows that these are the effects of TIN's Law Sac Formation. He uses the Meteorite Formation to alleviate the effects but CHOR suddenly loses sense and commits suicide. NAM immediately accuses YEE for being the spy of the evil cults and YEE doesn't know what to say.… ...
YEE sends SIK a jade pendant and promises to take her away after the Golden Seal Battle. SIK is deeply touched. YEE and YEUK YEE search through NAM's room and discover the poisonous drugs that killed CHOR. YEUK YEE wants to question NAM with the evidence. During the time, NAM's apprentice MANG MAN TONG is arrested for being the spy of TIN. At night, YEE and YEUK YEE go to the prison to visit TONG secretly. However, they discover that TONG and his brother apprentice FU MAN FEI are killed. NAM suddenly arrives with the other sect leaders and accuses YEE for being the spy and the murderer. YEUK YEE and YEE fight with them and escape eventually. NAM reveals the truth at Fei Ling Chamber and CHIM finally realizes NAM's secret. LOI visits CHIM and asks her to find out the real spy. CHIM goes to NAM's chamber and discovers the objects for practicing Red Sand Palm Strike and the confidential letters between TIN and NAM.… ...
NAM claims that YEE has killed CHIM. TUNG CHI PING from Ngan Dong Sect seizes LOI and threatens her to reveal the whereabouts of YEE by breaking the tendon of her hands and legs. LOI is seriously injured and YEUK YEE rushes in to rescue her. TIN wants to help treating LOI but YEUK YEE refuses him. SIK is not obedient to TIN and always answers back. However, TIN doesn't mind at all and he takes her suggestions in carrying out reformations. YEUK YEE brings LOI to the home of WINE MASTER. While carrying out treatment, PING suddenly attacks them. LOI is seriously hurt and she loses her consciousness. YEUK YEE kills PING and blames YEE for causing all these troubles. CHONG, WOOD and SHU come to Flying Fish Heights and NAM's apprentices try to monitor them closely. SIK offers sacrifice to CHIM at her grave and she tells NAM the detail structure of Heavenly Desire Palace.… ...
Several evil men come to the inn to look for YEE and LOI. YEUK YEE kills them and teaches SHAN to use poisonous drugs to protect his family. SHAN finds that YEUK YEE has changed completely. YEUK YEE meets SIK and tells her the reason behind his actions. He also tells SIK that NAM is the spy of TIN but SIK doesn't believe in him. NAM calls for a formal gathering before the Golden Seal Battle with all the representatives and the leaders. CHONG and WOOD are not satisfied with his acts and they decide to withdraw themselves from the Golden Seal Battle. YEE discovers a Magic Pillow. He sleeps on it and dreams of his master MO SHEUNG CHI. YEE wakes up and thinks through the words of his master. Li helps SIK to steal the Golden Lamp. He also tells SIK the story behind the Golden Lamp. SIK discovers the kung-fu book inside the Golden Lamp and finally believes that NAM is the spy.… ...
YEE and WISH rescue SIK. YEE goes to Flying Fish Heights alone and tells NAM that he has got the missing page of the kung-fu book that NAM wants. In order to get the page from YEE, NAM assures all sect leaders that YEE is not the spy. YEE asks NAM to arrange a meeting with TIN. NAM hurts both TIN and YEE with Red Sand Palm Strike. SIK arrives with all sect leaders and NAM's true identity as a spy is revealed. NAM seizes a chance and escapes. All sect leaders want to kill TIN but SIK tries to protect him. After learning the Li had betrayed him because of his deceased mother, TIN orders YEUK YEE to kill both Li and SIK. When YEUK YEE tries to kill SIK, TIN stops him and he reconciles with SIK. NAM practices the kung-fu improperly and he becomes mad. He loses all his memory and he couldn't even recognize HUNG. Before the Golden Seal Battle, KUNG tries to test the power of the Death Soldiers.
TIN locks himself up to practice kung-fu. He asks YEUK YEE to monitor the Golden Seal Battle for him. YEUK YEE believes that YEE will assign CHONG to fight in the 1st round. He therefore asks the Death Soldiers to scare CHONG with a fake Evil Sword. CHONG becomes very nervous when he sees the Evil Sword. He follows YEE's instruction and covers his eyes during the fight. He successfully finds the weak points of the Death Soldiers by his senses and wins the fight easily. YEE assigns SHU to fight in the 2nd round. SHU is trapped inside a Spider Formation of the Death Soldiers and he is seriously hurt. In order to win the 3rd match, YEUK YEE asks the Death Soldiers to extract the power from KUNG, FA and KWAN.
