Brilliant start to the season. Already showing great potential of being a great TV piece. It is really commendable that every season is a remake of the original and still feel fresh. Kudos to Noah Hawley.
I wonder if the episode starting with a German officer from East Germany in 1988 (with the STASI) has something to do with the "Stussy" family. ;)
"The Law of Vacant Places" is a mixed bag of a premiere for this third season of Fargo. While this episode has some quality moments, especially the introduction of V.M. Varga, I found the majority of this one unremarkable and contrived. In particular, the scene in which Nikki kills Maurice was nonsensical and borderline laughable. I'm also not sure what the opening scene has to do with the rest of this plot or whether it will have relevance to this season in general. In saying that, I am partially intrigued as to how this story will play out and which characters will survive in the end.
Overall, not a solid premiere, but not a bad one either.
Great start. All the cast looks superb. I'm intrigued by the Germany prologue...
i knew that i recognised ur man from somewhere but i would’ve never guessed that was ewan
The most well written show on television right now.I knew it that Ewan McGregor wouldn't let me down!!
HOLY FUCK! That A/C scene!
Such a good episode, probably the best show on TV.
This should be an interesting story to tell. Great kickoff episode. Looking forward to seeing the twists and turns in this one.
Great first episode setting up the rest of the season. Noah Hawley is a great director. He has a lot of great shots. Very unique storytelling and interesting music. I really like seeing ewan mcgregor play two roles. I think ray could be a real fun character. I'm interested in varga and how his organization will slowly take over stussy. Great to see Carrie coon doing another phenomenal show, I love her in the leftovers. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is awesome as usual and that ass...
what a dank show!! kudos

Thank god for Mary Elisabeth Winstead!
A good mix of the tried and trusted Fargo formula, multiple intertwined story lines, a police chief, bad and dumb people and death combined with new faces.
I've never been so relived seeing someone hit by a A/C-Unit
And I wonder if "Ehrmantraut" was a shout out to the other best TV-Show currently airing?
