So good! I find the outbreak scenario more interesting than surviving the postoutbreak to be honest. Can't wait to see where the show goes and I hope Tobias returns, he is awesome.
This episode was good IMO. I just wanted it to keep on going. This is going to work out just great...1st episode they had to build up some characters, which I was fine with. It's exciting and kept me wanting more.
The first episode wasn't great, I'm glad we got to see some chaos in this episode... We can finally see how the world turned out the way it did in The Walking Dead.
Really loving it so far. Has a decent pace. Its pretty realistic in terms of how you would react yourself in such a situation, really looking forward to watching as it develops

Much better episode. I can tell it's the mom's character keeping her from telling the daughter but it is just annoying. Her daughter is 17 and she is babying her.
Based on the female Cop/zombie encounter the Police seem to have a procedure in place (or that was horrible). But I think it should be extremity/reaction/headshot. She went straight for the chest which kills a person or does nothing to a zombie.
So the original epidemic was a Flu(rabies) mutation as actual science tells us is most likely. Then the people that survive have immune systems that protects them. But how does getting bitten cause everyone no matter their health to zombify? A bite doesn't automatically destroy immunity so the virus completely changes after someone turns?
Oh for the love right, that Madison dumb, the zombie coming upon her and her wanting to talk to the zombie, I hate characters that exceed in stupidity.
the series has improved as well in this episode, but there has to be more creative than making a character to be stupid to be attacked by a zombie, scene Tosca.
Better than the first... but still I don't care about any of the characters yet.... The teenagers are all annoying

disclaimer I got like to season 4 a few times then dropped the show, cus I forgot what happened so going thru a true re-watch.
Chris is by far the most annoying POS I've ever witnessed in any form of media, and he's worse then I remember, good lord.
Also the editing mistakes (i.e 24:30, Alycia taking her gloves off twice) are very glaring to me and IDK how they made it past AMC, considering the budget.....
Overall good.
the apocalypse is escalating and we see a lot of conflict as society splits between those who know what is going on and are terrified and those who are in denial. the chaos opened a door for civil unrest as people start to turn against each other.
in this episode we meet travis' son chris and his ex, liza, but it still seems like nick is the best character of the show. even though he's going through a lot and still very clearly struggling i really hope he makes it through that and sticks around through the season. he instantly became one of the most relatable (and funny) characters of the series and i am not sure the show would be as enjoyable without him.
i'm not sure i like travis. i don't know what is is about him. i know he is trying to protect his family but he's very controlling and bossy and that doesn't lend him any points in likeability. it's interesting how much you can learn about a person when they're in a stressful, life-or-death scenario.
It is interesting to see how people behave during crisis situations. Some pack up and run, a few others decide to make a stand and fight, while others go about their business, remaining carelessly oblivious to everything that goes on around them. Regardless of the choices people make, they are all in grave danger and I feel that his episode explored this topic extremely well. Tensions are on the rise, as misinformed civilians begin to lash out against law enforcement for what they consider to be excessive use of force and brutality against a homeless man. In the meantime, Madison and Travis make preparations to leave, while Nick goes into withdrawal, leaving Alicia with no other choice but to look after him. Chaos ensues as communications break down and electric power goes out in some areas. Madison decides to venture out in order to find the right medication to help Nick wean off the drugs, while Travis tries to get both his ex-wife and son to safety, so that they can all regroup later and get out of Los Angeles fast. However, these tasks prove to be more difficult than they had anticipated and it becomes increasingly hard to say who poses a bigger threat at this point: the living or the dead.
These few episodes what I have watched have been little bit long-winded but I still enjoy this show a lot!
It's just the second episode and i already hate half of the characters. Especially Alicia.

All the trouble caused by people not talking or listening to each other. No one saying the right things to get people to act. It's just so brilliantly annoying :) I just want to shout at the screen "Stop being such morons!".
The frustration is what makes this show. So far no horror or gore, just people stupidly acting like people. But then I guess us viewers know the direction this is taking and they don't. I can see this is going to hit the top of my watch list.
