The show's definately getting better for the past episodes. The weak spot, for me, is the actress how plays Karen but I don't like her in any of the roles she plays (they're always the same roles).
It's still not as "alternate reality" as I wanted it to be although I might be veering towards a more dystopian outcome rather then this more positive outcome... Cause let's face it... According to how things go in this show it would have been better if the Russians were the first on the moon: for women, for black people, mexicans, the Vietnam war,...
Oh man the tension they built up this episode! With the last minute course change, the descent, the oxygen and the ominous dream! So good to see them back in the lander at the end of it all.
Unexpected time jump too! Looking forward to seeing where it all goes.
An excellent episode. Definitely the best yet. The scenes on the moon were just so amazing and thrilling and I also like the scenes on earth with Karen and Warren. Just a great character driven show.
Who was that third astronaut again? Why even have him if you’re not going to do anything with him. He’s been a nobody since training. Other than that,it was a solid episode. Wayne is for sure my fav character.
I had no idea what this show would be about when I decided to watch it. I was pleasantly surprised by the first episode and think it's been getting ever more interesting as it goes along. It's nice to see some thoughtful programs still being made, and as it's set in the 70s (at least the first episodes were) there still an excuse for the idea that America still has to be pre-eminent. After the last 4 years, I think that may have sunk without a trace but hey, empires never last ...
The sad and frankly astonishing thing is that the ERA has still not been ratified to this day... in 2023!
I really like the character of Wayne. He breaks the unfeeling Karen. The paintings he made were incredible.
There is also a really fast pace. Last episode there were in training, this one on the moon and also 2 years later with the first lunar station. Let’s see how it goes further.
