Wow, what a finish!
In this sophomore season, the writers put everything in motion, putting their characters to full throttle. Sure, there were few misfires, such as Karen and Danny. But even the weakest elements added up to what this show is all about. Empathy for others and taking those bold steps that define the future.
This final episode wraps so many arcs, not necessarily into a neat bundle, but somehow all sorts of emotions at once. Sad and proud, suspicions and hope, despair and possibilities.
Holy cow! What an episode. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite shows.
One of the best episodes of TV ever! I saw this immediately after the abysmal Falcon and the Winter Soldier finale. Ronald D. Moore has finally made a great successor to Battlestar Galactica (sorry Outlander). Anyways, I haven't felt so tense by a TV series in a long time (rarely do ongoing shows get critical praise these days since anthologies and miniseries' get the attention). Anyways, the scene with Gordo and Tracy saving the day was absolutely beautiful but so tragic, and it hurt when the two died in each others arms. Even Ed and Danielle had their big moments that each held opposite results to the fate of the world, and luckily one prevails while the other changes their mind. This will go down as one of the best episodes of TV in the years to come.
The tensest TV I've experienced in a while. This episode had everything.
A Mexican standoff in space? Check!
Knocking up an impromptu spacesuit out of junk like The A-Team? Check!
A tragic, almost Shakespearean end for two star cross'd main characters? Check!
Beautifully shot action sequences? Check!
Perfect song choice for the breathtaking final sequence? Check!
This is one of the best shows around at the moment, and I can't wait for season 3.
One of the best episodes of television in recent memory. I don't think I was this tense since and completely immersed in an episode since the last season of Breaking Bad. No idea how they can possibly top this in S3, but that last scene gives me hope.
Wow! What an epic conclusion to the second season. The whole season was fantastic and the finale didn‘t disappoint either. The story was thrilling, exciting and also heartbreaking at the end and I can‘t wait to see where season three will go.
A masterclass of a finale to such a terrific season - more than rewarding of the slow start. AppleTV+'s best original series.
I’m done with this soviet bs. I won’t be watching next season.
Very intense, emotional and poetic finale. Great acting and wonderful production.
Well, that was easily my favorite episode of the show. All kind of thrilling, heartbreaking, and ultimately hopeful in its vision. Bring on season 3 and hope down the line they can top this.
I have so much to say and I don't even know where to start or how to say it. After such a great first season, season two was really a let down. It didn't really feel like the overall plot had a clear goal which made the whole season a big mess. So many things happen with either no payoff or with anti-climatic resolutions. Is this an attempt at telling realistic stories? I don't know. Instead of focusing on space travel, it focused too much on earth, too much on unsympathetic characters, and holy shit did they do Tracy dirty. I'm not even sure if the show wants the audience to be on Team America, Team Russia, or Team Mankind.
OMG Why????? So sad. Why kill of two of the best characters. Sad
I literally cried when Tracy died - such a beautiful character.
A deserving end for her character (its pretty well documented, that Gordo was a cheating asshole in real life and the show, so I don't really care about him)
Not a fan of the last scene where they reiterate Buran though - they should have kept that for the season opener. Actually I'm not a fan of the whole storyline - I like Margo and the russians are right, they already have her. Telling them about the fault in the stolen technology was borderline treacherous - she basically saved an enemies capability of sending weapons - and she definitely knew since she had been told why it was to be kept secret.
Spoilers: This season was not good and the finale was also bad. I didn't feel anything for anyone. Why did they have to die? It was so stupid. Couldn't they tell the Russians, hey this is going to blow up and we all die, so lets put some space suit and go out.
Really adore these scenes we get at the finale episodes. And what a soundtrack! Perfection
Should have been Karen instead of Stacey! I can do without seeing her again. Hope she takes her India trip and doesn’t come back.
Probably my favorite episode, but with a very hard finish.
Probably one of the best uses of a Nirvana song I’ve ever seen in film or television—this show consistently has some of the best needle drops I can think of.
Some bold strokes and decent way to move certain pieces in different directions and free up space for new characters and stories.
A very noble way for Tracey and Gordo to die.
I do adore Margo with that mind of hers (and accent!). Gonna be pretty frustrating if she's managed to become a pawn of the Russians unknowingly.
I hope season 2 holds hope for Ellen to be her true self. Though it seems unlikely if she wants to be such a public figure in America :disappointed:
Great final, each episode of this show becomes better.
THERE WAS A SPACE SUIT IN FRONT OF THE ENTRANCE THE WHOLE TIME THIS WAS SUCH A CHEAP DEATH FOR BOTH CHARACTERS!!
season 2 has been a huge let down. i’ll only continue to see what bullshit they come up with mars but by god i know i won’t enjoy it.
The season has gone from less to more in intensity, in the last ones at the top

Fantastic season finale. Had all the things I come to this show for. The action scenes in space were great both above and on the moon. I'm sorry to see Tracy and Gordo go, but I think the way it happened was quite powerful. Excited to see the ending tease season 3 focusing on / taking place on Mars, and given the additional time jump of it seems we'll likely be meeting a large swath of new characters. Can't wait for the next season, while Apple TV+ has a few good shows, this show alone justifies the existence of the service for me.
