Oh sure, lets leave the unstable "destroyed a toy dog" guy in charge of the drill pressure thing, it'll be fiiiine! Also, let's have him help the guy that argued with him earlier, he'll do his best to save him!
I know, I know, plot devices.

I thought Danny was going to say "I f_cked your wife" after being taunted. I know I would, lol.

"I've noticed you're on pills and have had a temper and zoning out all the time." "You want to take a swing at me? Go ahead!" "Oh, by the way, you will still be at the remote controls of the drill operation."
Whoever is writing this season should be fired. It makes absolutely no sense that they couldn't control that drill completely on site. Furthermore, Ed Baldwin has even stated in the show that he saw similar behavior in Gordo and even confined him to quarters. He's also an O-7 in the Navy with a lifetime of experience. No way in hell would someone that is high be allowed to perform such duties. I'm done after this season.

This show lost it’s steam this season. Feels like a soap opera going in circles. I’m actually surprised it got renewed.

Starting to remind me of the TV show designated survivor when it took a hard left turn and flopped.

Still solid enough, but worst ep of the season and also looks worse in light of a superb run the series has had so far this year. Almost impressed that it seems like they allot a time slot specially so the show's most ridiculous/least interesting storylines come at the forefront together for one episode, especially the two Stevens kids.

But... They didn't need a badge for that, did they?

I get that they needed the :star2:Drama:star2: But seriously, no commander in their right might would have put Danny isn that key position after the behaviour he was exhibiting.
Both the Stevens boys are infuriating tbh and the worst parts of the show right now

Hoo boy, this show is going down the tubes.

I guess they never heard the saying “An alcoholic who never relapsed is an alcoholic who died first". Or drug addicted, same concept. I remember I heard it from Dr. House. The point being: who’s been the moron to give the ok to bring to Mars that drug addicted psychopath? No way in hell someone with a history of dependency could even look at a spaceship!

Everything that followed is consequential…

Oh what do ya know. Danny out here gettin people killed.

Oh the drama, I like this episode except that Danny is gonna help that on person that he had an argument with before. You know something bad is gonna happen before it happens and that destroys the surprise element.

Damn, I really let myself believe that the other Stevens kid could turn around and wasn't going to suck as bad as Danny...

Margo (now very explicitly) gaslighting Aleida was rough, especially because I don't think she had exausted her options, she could even have aluded to a backroom deal to give a half-truth and bury her concerns.

I don't know what will come out of Ellen seeing Pam again but so far that's the storyline that doesn't bother me for the lack of imagination. Having her being a conservative president and still being involved in a sexual scandal is just entertaining. I just hope that that poor fool isn't treated like Monica was.

It would be funny if now they actually have to invent something to cover for Danny, though on the other hand that could be the perfect storm to scare the market even more, even if it was Helios that messed up.
