The production qualities are pretty high, as you'd expect from KyoAni. However, I've got to admit that I'm far removed from being the audience that this show is targeting, and as such, I struggled to find it engaging from the get-go. With that said, the sports story beats are entirely serviceable, the show just simply isn't for me.
