Just Cersei's scene was more than enough to make it an awesome episode.
So they destroyed Stannis character in last episode and killed in this one. They probably killed only active Stark fighting for rightful revenge. They killed another sweet girl for no reason (which was very easy to guess actually). And they killed one of the few coolest characters left in the show, Jon Snow, in a very disappointing way.
On the other hand, the queen bitch is still alive because of the mother's mercy. And the most useless Stark is probably alive as well. Ramsay bastard got a great victory.
So this episode and probably whole season was for bad guys. Now i wonder what d&d have on the plate for next season. Who will fight on the wall with passion against white walkers? Who will be the next coolest king fighting for his right in this game of thrones? Who will be the next decent character struggling to get revenge? Who will fight against winter fell bastard? The balance is so messed up. I wonder if we're going to see a really bad ending or a decent ending with lots of new characters. I think next season could change my whole perspective about this series. I really hope not...

Apart from Stannis Baratheon dying, this season finale has shocked me in every other way. Yes, I intensely hate Cersei Lannister, but during her final steps, even I thought this was too much for anyone to handle. Then Jamie's cousin dying: I still can't figure out why she had to die, what's this going to bring us in season 6? But what the fuck happened in those final 5 minutes... I have now words for this, I'm still in shock. Why oh why did Jon Snow need to die? The favourite of so many people. I think I'll get sick again when season 6 starts.

very veery poor amateur and stupid way to surprise the viewers!!! instead of revealing a part of say some ever deepening mystery to create a positive sense of accomplishment and maybe security and enthusiasm for mor, how about just killing the last grade A hero and underdog and destroying the viewers hopes for a just and brighter future and all enthusiasm to follow the story line just to create a shocking surprize!! a strong emotional reaction! keeping it real (in a fantasy world created to entertain) !!! the only obvious thing is the desperate, out of place and amateur attempt at being different !!!
They are trying way to hard, it's become boring and even ridiculous. And I'd bet money that Melisandre will do some bloodmagic to bring Jon back in the next season.
What a disappointment. Stannis the father and military commander, losing his daughter and army out of sheer writing laziness.
Arya Stark is a fucking beast! W/ her hand, she shall bring death to all the subhuman mongrels. And, Cersei Lannister is NOT a victim. That was just the beginning of what that thing deserved.

It was a good episode but the excuse for having the Red Woman in The Wall was lame. At least we know she's there and supports the R+L=J. Cersei's walk of shame wasn't enough...
An episode on par with the Red Wedding, no one expected what was to come here.

I caught some book spoilers online last week, related to Shireen's death, that talked about what happened in this episode, which also happens to be the end of the fifth book, so I actually wasn't caught off guard when that cliffhanger happened.
I am curious to see what both George R. R. Martin and the show writers will do next, given that the sixth book isn't out yet.

Good episode, actually most of the things happening (including what's happening to John Snow) seem to have some logic or do have some credibility. Only things that are less believable is Daenerys not having more protection. How is that possible when she has such a big army? Why is it only 2 of her heroes helping her out while she commands armies... The other thing less credible is Cersei not being helped any sooner by the kings' guard.

Cersei's situation is her own fault. It's too heavy, yes. It is cruel. And if it were another character, I would feel sorry. But with Cersei I can't do it, precisely because I know that who gave power to these extremists, who endorsed this group to act freely in the streets was Cersei herself, in order to harm others.
Stannis Baratheon got what he deserved. And I find it very worthy that his fate was sealed by Brienne, just as she wanted.
The end of the episode always fills me with hatred with these unfortunate traitors luring Jon Snow into this trap to kill him. This moment is too shocking.
A great finale for the weakest season yet.

Could have been a good conclusion to a season that really dragged its feet, but the lackluster CG in the walk of shame and the throwaway cliffhanger made it all feel plastic.
Man - how Lena Headey did that naked walk scene is beyond me. Lots of exposed dongs and vaginas.
