One of the best episodes of the series. The ending is breathtaking.
Ending was so damn exciting.... Guess you have to wait for the next episode to confirm that Jamie is dead or not...
I don't think he's dead tbh
Totally Ninja episode
This episode ticked all the boxes.
Jamie can't see the back of a royal that he's like IMMA STAB IT
That reuninion of the Starks after so long, after so many seasons was so rewarding. And yet they all clearly showed the distance that has grown in between them during that time. Such great acting.
And wow that duel between Arya and Brienne was so amazing! I loved seeing the two different styles and the mutual respect that appeared after. That delightful smirk of Sansa and her answer of "no one" was perfect.
The cave scene was great for two reason. 1) I also loved the chemistry between Daenerys's and Jon Snow was great in the cave. Besides deepening the backdrop of the almost forgotten children of the forest lore (for me anyways), it 2) strengthened Jon's case that the White Walkers are REAL. The blue eyes in the cave drawing and that music was great at reminding me of the battle at Long Lake- in that eerie and terrifying finale where all the dead rose again as Jon rowed away from the beach.
I honestly thought that Jon was gonna tell Daenerys to attack King's Landing. The response he made started so neutral in the beginning I didn't think he was gonna say to not go. Besides that I loved the tension between Theon and Jon was great as well. There's so much tension going back and forth in this series now that there's a longer history of betrayals and cruelties this season is turning out to be really exciting.
This battle at the end totally exceeded my expectations. Small battle- another loss like the short conclusive clips of the Casterly Rock battle and in the seas with the Greyjoys.
That moment when u hear the thunder I knew the Dothraki where coming~ what I didn't expect was to see a dragon......HOLY SHIT LOL those precious seconds before the dragon spew fire was glorious. Was really anxious during the whole battle to see if any of my favorite characters would be killed. Danerys was there, Jamie was there, Tyrion was there, . Knowing that GoT has no qualms about killing main characters made this battle extremely tense. xD
Having Tyrion there and Jamie on the same battlefield also brought huge tension. Add into addition the new ballista as well as that shot into the dragon made me think Daenerys was done for. Then I thought Jamie was done for from that fire breath. Honestly this battle had me on the edge of my seat the whole battle. Jeezus.
Love when 90% of the episode is boring as hell but there is a battle at the end so its become a "best episode" for the fans lol.
That last scene was amazing. I love that we are getting huge battles more than once a season, probably because they have more of a budget per episode. Drogon is a total game changer, one second Jamie thinks he can hold off the Dorthraki. The next he is just about shitting his pants. Bronn did show that they are mortal and can be hurt. Jamie charging at Daenerys while Tyrion was watching was great. Tyrion still cares, at least a little, for Jamie and wants him to live. It not often we see two main characters directly fighting each other. Glad to see Daenerys get a win and Jamie not dead, hopefully.
Jon and Daenerys are getting closer. They seem to start to like each other more every scene they have together. Jon finding the cave paintings of white walkers was convenient. Hey look at this giant rock we are going to mine. Oh, look over there, there are old paintings of white walkers. Told you there were real. Jon still won’t bend the knee but he doesn’t want to be the king. A little stubborn, like daenerys too. Someone is going to have to give.
Another stark reunion only this time it didn’t feel as special. Maybe it's because we have seen a lot of reunions lately but it didn’t seem like they were that excited to see each other. Then Sansa’s like, Brans home too. Why did littlefinger give that dagger to Bran? Will Bran find out who tried to kill him with it? Was it actually littlefinger himself, he said he “lost” it to Tyrion. But hey at least Arya now has some valyrian steel.
The Arya and Brienne fight was fun. It crazy to see how well Arya was trained as an assassin by ’no one’. She still is a little girl that can be kicked down by Brienne but still very deadly. Sansa is seeing it for the first time too. I’m sure she is wondering who her sister has become fighting like that and having a list of people to kill.
I love how Davos introduces Jon. "King Snow, isn't it? No that doesn't sound right. King Jon?" Personally I like King Jon Targaryen.
[7.8/10] A lot of the first portion of the episode is a bit clunky, but I like the various reunions we get. Arya and Sansa are happy to see one another, and have common ground with long difficult journeys to get back home, but they're still very different people, and I appreciate the combination of warmth and distance between them. The same goes for Bran, who's full-blown Dr. Manhattan at his point, unable to emote or even really care about much from the present. And lord knows, Jon's reunion with Theon is, uh, tense. His business with Dany feels a little more convenient, with the cave drawings persuading her rather quickly (though there's still that whole "bending the knee thing" to contend with) and him being there just in time to give a tidy monologue about what Dany being a leader means.
Still, here it means her splitting the difference between trying a more humane method of conquest and just flying into King's Landing, dragons a'blazing, and melting the place down. She turns her ire onto Jaime's forces at Highgarden, blowing up his grain (and most of his men) to smithereens. It's one of the show's most thrilling action sequences, but also one of its most horrible. It's dramatic and exciting when dragon-backed Dothraki meet Lannister soldiers, but it's also something to recoil from when you see men burned to a crisp or screaming as they're consumed by flame. War is a terrible business, and as much drama and thrills as the show extracts from it, it also gives us people we care about on both sides and horrible ends for so many, that makes us, like Dickon Tarly, question how "glorious" it truly is.
I'm one of the few that can't stand Dragonbitch, when Bronn (my favourite character since the beginning) hit the dragon I felt like if my favourite team had scored a goal during the Champions League final.
Holy shit Drogon!! Tyrion still cares for Jamie. Oh man, it's been a long time I got this excited GOT.
Amazing episode. I had goosebumps at the end. One of the best.
I was actually really engaged into Jamie not dying.
The Lannister really needed to take an L. They got too cocky.
I was kinda pissed about this episode being the shortest one but OH MY FUCKING GOD FORGET ABOUT IT THIS
WAS
THE
BEST
ONE
HANDS DOWN
What an episode! Finally some action!
Highlights:
Storm born and John targaryen finally got to an understanding! And with that, John had the chance to call Danny to reality and make her see that she's on the edge of becoming just another mad king.
Arya is revealing to be a major player in this story and a great learner!
The battle, the pinnacle of the episode, is just epic! Who didn't get their airs up with that "Dracarys" call! What an amazing paint of fire he did in there! From flesh to ash the lannister soldiers went, couldn't get any harsher.
Jamie is still on Cersei side, unfortunately. But can now go back and describe a glimpse of the devastating power of dragons.
The only thing missing on this one was the return of sir Jorah to is khaleesi.
Epic, just epic. Much needed episode the spark the flame in true GoT fans!
Finally a really good episode. And the Lannisters got a good bashing. I really hope there will be a good scene with that Lannister bitch being told her army went up in smoke in the next episode.
One badass episode! Start to finish.
The reunion of the Stark girls was everything I imagined but that one on one Arya had with Brienne was even better. The final battle in this episode was so badass and at times felt like a dance, the way everything flowed together. I was rooting for all sides, Bronn, Jaime, Tyrion, Dany, every side. I can't wait to see what happens next, I have hopes that Jaime will survive and will be somewhat reborn in to a lighter version of himself, with clarity that his sister is insane.
Wow! that was an epic episode. :o Amazing!
dracarys bitches! - say hello to my little friend!
DRACARYYYYS!!!!! I knew that crossbow was gonna hit him and ruin all the happiness. That dragon better live.
I haven't rewatched an episode this many consecutive times since The Battle of the Bastards. This episode is a cinematic work of art, and so many plot lines converging... I'm having wave after wave of goosebumps just thinking about what's to come!
Another fucking amazing battle episode. Don't think I ever squealed as much as I did when Drogon appeared in front of the Lannister army. The end is near and it's fucking epic,
OMFG!!! Dracarys!!!! Ahhhh!!!!
Best. Episode. Of. The. Season (So far)
I need more!!! War is here!!! Ahhhh!!
I love it!!!
One of the Best episode of the series. OMFG
Pros
+Based Jaime and Bronn
+Dragons actually being used
+Jon seeing Theon for the first time since the beginning
+Bran staring down Littlefinger and Arya being reunited
Neutral
*Other Dragonstone parts were filler
*Brienne part was okay, I wish she did exactly what the Hound did before and lecture her about using a big fucking sword but whatever.
Cons
-Dothraki looked cheesy as fuck and friendly reminder that arakhs can't cut through steel plate -_-
I didn't think I could respect Jaime any more but goddamn I do. Literally cheered as he went to stamp out the head of the snake. First time I've done that to a tv show since Boardwalk ended. We'll get her next time bud
Epic! This episode in my opinion is one of the best episodes of the whole series. I'm glad Daenerys listened when Olenna Tyrell's said "Are you a sheep? No. You're a dragon. Be a dragon.". Drogon was incredible especially when he protected Daenerys from Jaime. I hope that he is okay after being hit by the crossbow. I know I will be watching it again.
Best episode of the entire series and the best battle of the show so far!! Dracarys!!!!
It leaked. But holy fuck. I don't even know where to begin. Best episode of the season so far. Why am I getting teary eyed over a dragon?
Daaaaamn Girl! That was truly epic.
One of the most action packed exciting episodes of the entire series.
Truly an interesting experience watching two generally liked main characters on opposite sides of the battlefields. The appearance of the dragons was also breathtaking.
Finally... some real Game of Thrones!!!
That last scene and that feeling.... You don't get it often. I remembered it happened last time in fight with Night king about a year ago.
Daenerys is too fucking, that scene more beautiful the dragon burning the army Lannister. Do not mess with the Dragons babies, James's death is saved by the end.
If it's up to Jon Snow to be with Someone, let it be Daenerys, nothing savage like that guria that fortunately died. Shippo Many
I'm at the PQP
I just want to say, Jamie please just kill your sister. You are not a bad man truly. Just kill your sister as you killed the mad king. You do not deserve dead for your sister ok? Even I can feel that your sister is a poor woman too, but she already falls in crazy. I really can saw many good stuff in your inside. I do wish you could be together with my ”big beauty”.
This episode has exceeded awesomeness for me. Tyrion's affinity towards Jaimie and his family/house is heartwarming to see. It might seem unfair to "MOD" but Jaimie Lannister has redeemed himself in so many ways and "MOD" has been in decline, for long time. Could it be hinting at what lot of people are afraid to admit ?
Well, that was epic... and I loved every second of it.
Arya after making eye contact with Little finger tonight, her face said "you just made the list" :+)
OMG. These episodes aren't long enough lol.
ohhh my God the final Batlle just... (No words)
Best episode on the series!
I WILL SAY JUST ONE WORD: DRACARYS!!!!!!!!
I waiting 7 seasons to see the best episode
If you're wondering whether you should watch the leaked episode, wait until Sunday.
It's great knowing and all but it's similar to Blackwater, so you'll miss out on the full experience without proper quality.
Thrilling episode nonetheless.
Another banger episode with great character moments, but this time with lots of action too.
Dickon's jawline is fuckin diabolical.
Arya Stark: "Do I have to call you Lady Stark, now?"
This is arguably one of the best Game of Thrones episodes by far. And the best of this season so far. The first half, more focused on dialogues, already works perfectly. The second half with Daenerys and Drogon's attack on the Lannister army... It is sooooooo great. Incredible special effects!
In addition, we had yet another Stark reunion. And this time Bran hugged Arya, at least! It's wonderful to see these brothers together again. Waiting for the moment that everyone will be reunited with Jon.
All hail queen Danerys! You deserve the iron throne
Great episode, Arya comes home, a lot of scenes with the Starks and then the epic battle with Dany fighting Lannisters from the back of the dragon, Bronn the wannabe dragon slayer - all was visually impressive and also very emotional. I know from the spoilers Jaime doesn't die in this episode but the ending makes the viewers think he does, so it is quite a cliff-hanger.
i like that arya is finally back at winterfell, but what's goin on with bran tho...
the battle was amazing, i was scared that drogon gon die, and even tho i kinda like jaime, he should've died right there.
Best one this season..
I was not really sure who to "root" for.. which side to favor.. just goes to show how complex the characters are.. sadly they ruined it by the end of season for fanservice..
i was in an "OMG" mood. omg after omg after omg and ..... OMG this episode was fantastic. can't wait for the big battle. lucky Jaime and Bronn simply can't die can he!!!! WOW.
The best episode since the beginning !
Wow, what an episode that was! I really don't want to watch a dragon die, but I guess it's inevitable right?
One of the best episodes so far.
Absolutely awe inspiring, it was so edge of your seat stuff just rooting for everyone but knowing that they were on opposing sides. Literally was shouting out loud with anticipation.
"Can Cersei come out and play?"
Wonderful episode, wonderful graphics. However I would have bend the knee at the first sign of Dragons
those last 20 minutes are just...Magic!! Must spend lot of time before I could see something similar to this in any show.
Well for the fight, although what surprised me the most are the looks and faces of Sansa. To the rich soldier Lannister well roasted
I'm at a loss of words. 'Holy shit' kinda describes it best. My goosebumps' goosebumps say that this might be the best episode I've ever watched on television.
Awesome. I think it was one if the greatest episodes. The two sides meet for the first time and the reunion of siblings.
I do hope the dragon dies. Otherwise the show doesnt follow its own path
this battle was even more epic than battle of the bastards! Yass daenerys and drogon! Fire and blood!!
Wow. One of the best episodes
I don't think that I have seen anything like this episode on TV yet. The battle at the end was beyond epic!
Certainly one of the best episodes of the show.
Best episode so far, hands down.
Umm to those that say this is the last season..... Nope it's not but none the less fantastic episode! Dragons owning stuff finally!
I've been waiting for 6 seasons to see this happen :') Spectacular!
They finally meet! After 6 seasons! T^T
Damn! What an awesome episode!
Oh god, Oh god, Oh god
Great episode yeah. But there is not time for the 2 wars, bad choise hbo we need one more season
Ole girl spit mad fire!! Mad fire I tell ya! And how the hell do you swim with that iron hand? He honestly should have been toast.
YO HBO YOU BETTER NOT KILL JAIME OR DRACARYS FOR YA
So many amazing moments o this episode... The whole thing was just breathtaking, i wanted to scream in so many moments... But i was at my neighboor's, so i couldn't. Arya arriving in Winterfell, Arya training with Brienne, Jon and Dany in the cave, Theon just not dying because he ran away with Sansa... But the High Gardens scenes in the final part was AMAZING! Daenerys coming with the Dothraki and flying on top of Drogon gave me chills! DRACARYS! Loved every second of it. Looking foward for the next week's episode!
The rating I'd like to give this episode would be "insane" but Trakt doesn't have that option.
And by insane I do not mean necessarily a good or bad thing, it actually means a few mixed feelings.
I'm not sure yet how I feel about this episode. I kinda enjoyed the Stark reunion a lot. but the bottled started so suddenly, there's no warning and it ended as quickly as it started. Can't wait until next episode so sorry to see Game of Thrones coming to an end
Love the battle and further development of Jon Snow's character :-)
holy f***ing moly. truly the second best episode of the series so far. I cannot wait until next episode. Wish this was broadcast on Netflix. then we get to see all episode at once..
Caos is only a ladder to death when a fire breathing Dragon shows up in front of you.
Excellent episode, finally after three very regular episodes

That episode was LIT. Literally...
