Starts off strong, then becomes a mess that just stops abruptly. Consider episode 8 the last episode then move on.
Mega fucken anime, the episod 12, was adaptation of chapter 28 of manga.
i am very frustrated because of the ending and how bad it needs a season two but its cancelled since the studio went bankrupt. if you can deal with that, then you have to watch this anime!
it has a great storyline, it has great characters, it's a very open-minded story about social issues and the natural difference in the people and it has diverse character designs.
if you enjoy action shows with a lot of complicated backstory (like attack on titan or tokyo ghoul) then this is the perfect choice! again, the only bad thing about it is that there is no season two but that doesnt mean the first 12 episodes are not worth watching.
Started off very strong. Likeable, kickass anti-heroes, cool action and music, decent quality of animation. Unfortunately the last few episodes drop in quality quite a lot (they even took a week off at one point which is never a good sign) and the last episode just kind of... stops. It's hard to even describe it as a cliff-hanger, it's like someone just pulled the plug mid-action scene.
Unfortunately as of yet there is no continuation announced. To make matters worse, the studio who animated the first season (Manglobe - RIP) has filed for bankruptcy.
I do hope that another studio picks this series up and continues it but who knows at this point. As it stands at the moment I can't really recommend this due to the abrupt non-ending. Not unless you're okay with picking up the manga where it leaves off.
