the feels are strong with this one
The episode wasn't good, but the end felt special tho (as always, and that's what most of us felt connected to the first time we watched the show). This is a good example of what Glee could have been and what we ended up getting.
The few times they've shown Cory are really being emotional and this one without exeption. I guess it was also a big loss to the show.
This was a cute nod to the past but kinda unnecessary, tho like it was nice to see how much the club helped everyone, especially Kurt.
I loved the little details like the cheerios’ old uniform and Emma’s hair! And I loved seeing Matt and Terri back.
But why did they still went with the black dad thing?? Binge watching the show in a couple of months obviously I noticed how in the first episodes Rachel had a black dad and then they recasted her parents but people that watched this over the years maybe didn’t remember that continuity mistake so why bring it up again? I guess it was like a joke to the fans.
Can we talk about the fact that Rachel got slushied in front of Mr Schue and he didn’t give a fck???? Like he is a teacher, he could’ve taken them to the principal’s office or give them detention, but instead he just thought “this girl is the most pathetic human being, lemme give her all the solos”
And I just wanna take this opportunity to say (hopefully for the last time ever) that MR SCHUE WORST MAN ALIVE, just see how hurt Mercedes was after not getting the solo -and maybe most of us wouldn’t cry about that and I bet Mercedes wasn’t even crying about A solo, but she knew that being in the glee club would mean that for years the white rude mean girl would get ALL the solos while the white teacher was enabling her and punishing Mercedes, which sadly happened- BUT she ended up being the SUPERSTAR, having a consistent career and being the most loved and respected friend.
It was funny seeing Sue declaring war on Schue for the first time and I guess the reason she wanted to disband the club was cause she didn’t want anyone stealing the cheerios’ thunder? Lame reason, but it’s Sue so I’ll give her a pass.
And 11 years later DSB remains ICONIC, I remember the first time I watched this episode, back when it first aired, and I loved the optimistic vibes off this song and I still get that feeling.
That was a really pointless and awful episode. Boy didn't Kurt digress in age from all the scenes til the end! I think they did this just so they could replay Don't Stop Believin' I thought for sure that we would get something more than just that.

Nice idea of going back to the beginning but i still miss Finn can't be done without him...also Quinn not there...they could've done something comepletely better but then again since Finn died it's been useless..they should've quit after the Quarterback EP
