Surprisingly, I rather liked this series. As an educator, I can’t condone most of the teaching principles applied here, as a lawyer tries to save a school from closing (more specifically a group of students from being abandoned by a failing educational system) but this is a comedy, and I sincerely hope that South Korea’s public educational is not in such terrible disarray. If you follow my reviews, you know that I’m not a big fan of over the top comedies but I kind of fell in love with the group of 5 ‘special’ students and the lawyer and teacher (Bae Doo-na) that invest in them. The twist and turns are written well, the characters are cleverly drawn, the performances are good and the story is contagious. I give this series a hearty 8 (engaging) out of 10.
