2x02 Rise of the Villains: Knock, Knock

My brain hurts with the buss scene lol why didn’t the girls open the back door and how come the fire took forever to catch up to the buss

The episodes of this season so far are really underwhelming.
Seems like they want to repeat with Cameron Monaghan what they did with Robin Lord Taylor. Sadly, Cameron is a terrible actor in opposite to Robin. I don't buy his acting one bit, it's pretty overacted every single time, he's annoying the moment he appears.
The shooting in the police department was terrible as well. Police men seem to be simple puppets in this show.
Make a briefing and tell them of Gordon's ex-wife but don't pay any attention when she's in your police department, because of a little make-up. Don't even take cover if someone throws a flash grenade next to your frigging desk. No, no.
But most of all, don't shoot the bad guys because script demands otherwise, instead get shot yourself.
So far, I am incredibly disappointed in this season. It's throwing stupidity at its audience in a way I didn't discover in season 1.

Awesome episode, it started out a bit slow, and some scenes with the "Maniax" struggling over who would be the boss was kinda strange and almost just a filler for part of the episode, and the same could be said about showing small parts that included the mayor as well. The episode really picked up toward the middle and end, and just left you reeling. Almost gave this episode three stars, but the way the Maniax decimated everyone and everything made you want more. It's gonna be hard to wait for next weeks episode!

Bloody Alfred... first he helps a teenager to build a homebrew bomb and to blow up the secret vault door. A frigging bomb! But then he looses his :poop: because of... a computer? Are you kidding me, Alfred?

So when Bruce didn't eat, burnt his hand on purpose, cut himself... that was all OK, because "he needs to choose his own path". When Bruce decided to investigate Wayne Enterprises, "well, he has made his mind up". Tearing up the whole library searching for any clues? No problem. Building and blowing up a bomb inside the house? Sure. But a computer? Hells no, that's where Alfred draws the line.

Sigh...

Don't get me wrong, I love the show. But Jesus, some of the characters are either insufferable (hey Fish!), or dumb beyond any hope (Alfred)... or both (Nygma, Kringle...). The Joker Jerome, on the other hand, couldn't possibly be any better.

Yes, there are things about this episode and this series you can say are a little crazy, but then hey this is fantasy right?

Jerome's character is brilliant although perhaps a little reminiscent of Jack Nicholson in 'The Shining' at times. I keep expecting him to say "Here's Johnny!"

Master Bruce, he's on track to start his training now, I would like to see how that manifests itself. How do you get from slightly built teen to 'BatMan' - and - where is the Batcave? the hidden room seems maybe a little cramped....

Such a stupid episode with all the plot holes and lameness of characters.. uhhh.. I tried really hard to buy it but just couldn't. I really hope that this season picks up soon coz I wouldn't endure such level for long.

This season is starting to become really boring. The new cast playing the Maniacs are just not up to par. I like the plot but the acting seems to just be getting worse. This episode had so much wrong with it that it is hard to try to get wrapped up in the show. The gasoline on the bus went up like kerosene. The lighter dropped from the bad guys hand somehow lights the gas 25 yards behind them but not the huge puddle they are standing in. When playing Russian roulette there are only 4 pulls for a 6-shot revolver. Why not give the Cannibal his 50/50 pull?

I think that I'm only watching this show at this point to experience Sean Pertwee go all drunk Cockney. Still, dude. Destroying the computer? Kippers? Sausage?
