I kinda saw that ending coming, but expected it to go in a different way. Overall a great episode!
I half expected this to happen with Jerome dying so Jeremiah could take his place as the Joker but it was still fantastic. I just hope that Jeremiah will be just as mad as Jerome because I really loved how that was done. Superb acting from Cameron, yet again, he is perfect for the part!
Am I the only one that doesn't like the acting of Jerome? I don't think it's enough for an actor to just copy another actor to be good. Heath Ledger definitely brought something new to the table, although I still see the voice of Mark Hamill as the best Joker, but the Jerome actor simply mimics Ledger in what he says and how he says it. It may be good as a tribute and continuation of the work that Ledger never got to do but it is nothing original.
Awesome episode. But damn... that laughing gas transformation is really bollocks! :D
The most “Batman like” episode yet!
Gotham. Where rock music festivals are organized in a corner in the middle of the street. For old people wearing coats, scarves and wool beanies.
Gotham, the only place where the natural reaction for two security guards, when they notice something mysterious, ominously beeping faster and faster, is to approach it instead of taking cover.
Gotham, where you have resurrections, magical doors, freezing ray weapons, infinite fuel flamethrowers... but no radio inhibitors with more than a couple of meters range.
Gotham, where the police provides new hostages for the criminals, instead of having them released.
Luckily there is only one more season left, because I'm not sure how much more :ox::poop: I can take.
Didn't really like that episode much. Liked the end bit with seems like ras might still be alive so then hopefully something bad happens to barbara. Liked how jerome died but not the speech. Didn't like how it was set up to be jeremiah the next jerome...eh. Not the kind of character. But i liked how the gas was involved to make him insane. But still eh, not the right character, and donn't like how oh this jeremiah joker was made as jeromes revenge, eh. I'm going to think of it as this is like a proto-joker, and one day he will inspire the real joker. Barbara more annoying than usual. Didn't like the main plot of this episode at all really and was largely bored. Full of plot holes which was really annoying, and simply it wasn't that good at all. I do like the violence and brutality in the show though.
Wow, a decent episode of Gotham. I'm amazed. Keep it up.

The Jerome stuff is great. The Barbara/Ras Al Ghul stuff is kind of dumb. Just wish the Jerome actor didn't use a voice that sounded so much like Ledger. Otherwise he's brilliant.
But Jerome just happened to have a twin handy somewhere and the writers always said Jerome wasn't the Joker. With their weird and often cliche writing. I had a feeling right away, the twin is the Joker. Unless he's just an idea as well, which would be dumb.
