Green Wing 2004

My mum, who is a wonderfully off kilter, introduced this show to me when it first aired and it quickly became must see. I remember fondly driving to my parents place so we could share the total randomness that is Green Wing.

Between this, Big Train, Smack the Pony, Jam and Coupling we found so much wonderful talent.

Tamsin Greig went on to star in the sublime Black Books and most recently in Episodes along with co-star Stephen Mangan [worth a look]

Sarah Alexander is gorgeous and sadly absent from our screens far too long. Michelle Gomez is equally missed as her character Sue White is truly inspired.

Rediscovering this series again has been a delight and trips back to my Mum's to watch them all over again have been fantastic :)

This ahead-of-it’s-time sitcom has far too many highlights to mention, but who’d have thought that complete insanity could be so sexy and hilarious?

From Sue White to Alan Statham, Guy Secretan to Joanna Clore... not a single sexual screw fully tightened in that bunch alone.

And don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for plenty of WTF moments happening semi-out of focus in the backgrounds...
