It was nice seeing Meredith's very first patient again, and that she was concerned about her. I loved that in the end she did compliment Amelia's skills to the patient, that showed professionalism and that maybe she and Amelia are heading towards a more level path.
Kudos to Amelia to be focusing on herself and staying sober. I hope she and Owen settle down now with this whole startover.
Alex was adorable being a friend to April, and he is right, she should tell Jackson soon.
I really like Arizona/Webber's friendship.
Arizona Robbins is the new Mark Sloan.
She also is the gayest of gays and lesbianic.

Meredith Salenger broke my heart this episode. It was so well acted and written. As was Amelia working Meredith's first patient while wrestling with her constant struggle of being compared to Derek.
Definitely felt like the days of old. The only weak spot was the continued odd writing for Alex and Jo's relationship. Seems like an afterthought for the writers.
This was a genuine grey's episode, reminding us of what it used to be and that it didnt really change, it's essence is there. Though it made me miss Derek...
