Well now it's a real soap opera, Owen won't be able to leave Amelia while she's sick, and he'll suffer over Teddy who'll suffer over something else (we'll probably see soon).
Best case scenario for the poor guy is if Meghan dies (super upsetting for Meredith despite the mixed emotions), he gets her kid and raise him with Teddy.
