I really enjoy how Haikyuu can focus on single players and still display the whole team.
Even though Tanaka's battle and Kageyama's state of mind are the focus here, this isn't a one man show, it's about the team. It's the obvious moments (like the inner monologue about Kageyama's bad king habit and the difference to Oikawa) and the smaller ones (like Hinata's thoughts about Tanaka and how Hinata and Nishinoya keep the ball in the air, supporting Tanaka).
Many anime are about friendship and how to overcome hardship, but Haikyuu really shows us how we can achieve greater things if we work as a team, and that we don't need to sacrifice our own goals and motivations to work together.
