I honestly thought Hanna’s new friend was hitting on her until the club scene.

If the people behind this project want to expand the story of the original film to this series they should at least make it a good job in doing so, just for the sheer respect of the source material. It's a poorly done made product. The original film is by far superior to this work they've done.
And from the two episodes, I've seen so far. I don't get it? On what's the point of this project from the start? Money, I guess and additional content to amazon service.

And this episode has some clear bad editing issues.

Another concern in terms of the story. Is how the hell those underage teens get inside a club and why they choose that setting in the first place? Is it because, of the sake of not copying the things that the film already did?

When they stick close to the movie story, they inevitably will be compared to it, and in this instance they are very clearly nothing like Saoirse Ronan and Jessica Barden or their dynamic. It somehow is way too similar to the movie, and at the same time different enough to be quite a bit worse.

But at least at this pace they are going to run out of movie story to copy fast.

A predictable glimpse at normality, more like it. Surely something different could've been done to give Hanna that than going to a club and partying. That was so dumb. Not only that, she should've known better than to become involved with other people, especially if she's obviously going to grow attached to them given she's lived in a forest her entire life. I'd be surprised if those chasing her don't end up using them to get to her. If they don't, they're even dumber than she is. Because at this point, she's more likely to try and save them by doing what they want in return that they're not killed instead of caring about her own safety more. Hopefully, she knows better. I doubt it, though.
