If "The Lion of the Lord" survives a gut stabbing that violent in 1869 he does have divine providence. Or that knife is related to the one from Scream TV that didn't kill Jake.
Based as what we've seen maybe a month has passed in 7 Episodes. And 7 more episodes left for Cullen to finish the railroad. If they do a time jump after episode 8 we miss the harshness of continuing the tunnel through solid granite. Or they do some compressed montage type episodes.
I just hope we get to see the railroads meet near of Ogden, UT. (History shows which railroad won)
