Where can I get it in English??
Another good British Detective mystery. Fine performances. Filmed in the beautiful lush hills of North Wales with the added treat of being in English and Welsh (subtitles included). Caution: some scenes are disturbing. I give this series a 7.5 (good) out of 10. [Police procedural]
First season is superb, second season is good, third season is not quite as good as the first 2 in my opinion. Production values are grreat, a lot of the episodes are quite dark with little relief. I really enjoyed the sound track.
A Welsh take on Nordic Noir, Hidden is a well-acted and watchable crime series but it lacks in the story department somewhat, which are rather pedestrian and hold the series back from being one to actively recommend.
Paint by numbers show with a lot of tropes that you can see coming but it’s filmed in a pretty location.

Season 1 - beautiful landscapes, interesting main characters with believable storyline. I like that they didn't have a lead with cliche anger management issues (hate that). For me the slow burn was perhaps a bit too slow, and I would have liked to get more background into why the perpetrator did what he did (I can see that he grew up in a terrible family environment,, bullying - but more). Especially because mid-way through we already found out who did it. I felt like I wanted something more after it ended.
Season 2 - better. More disturbing and more depressing. Season 3 - also depressing. I stand by it being a bit too slow.
