An hour dedicated to get a bear his armor, which we knew he would from the posters.
Iorek was incredible, but I can't help but think that this episode turned one of the most exciting parts of the story into a bit of a chore to sit through. The storytelling has slowed to a crawl and it's unfortunately beginning to do so here at the expense of character. Lee Scoresby certainly made an impression (albeit virtually unrecognisable to the book character) but I find I can't get any grip on what Lyra is all about at this point. She's doing her own thing with her own attitude and we're not getting to see the thought processes or reasoning behind it.
James Cosmo more or less stole the episode with his fantastic performance, though.
That's a funny looking goose daemon
good thing there weren't any wet paper bags in the script to get trapped in, otherwise LMM would have struggled.
Lyra has entered the town of Megaton (Fallout 3)
Delores Umbridge lady has turned into the Roman Catholic Church trying to expand the Holy Roman Magisterium Empire by giving kings holy titles
And now everyone in the Fellowship is off to the northern pass
I've never seen the movie The Golden Compass, but after looking up "Armoured bear" it came up, and damn it's similar to this. I wonder if the movie is one of the worlds in the universe of His Dark Materials...
Ok, I'm officially hooked now with the warrior bear, daemons/familiars and parallel worlds. It's one of the better shows I've seen this year, that's for sure.
Absolutely LOVE the armoured bear! The armour is made of Sky metal, eh? Hmmm, from what I wonder?
I'm starting to like this show , very nice scenery
“That... seems fair.”
Haha ok Lyra.
How to make me interested in a series:
1. Bear
2. Ruth Wilson

The new characters are interesting, and the scene with Farder Coram talking about his dead baby was quite moving.
