Was intrigued at first - is our spy on the trail of a real problem? Is her paranoia getting the best of her? Why they would instantly defuse that question by showing us scenes from the bad buys point of view seems strange. Why make it so straight forward? That makes me much less interested.
The Americans first season handled that better - we saw the paranoia, the lack of complete information - for both sides and how it caused unfortunate things to happen. Thought this might be in the same area, but no.

Another highly touted show I am a little bit late to.
First impression: it's not the direction I thought it would be. Carrie is a very unlikeable person that will have a lot of redeeming to do to get on the good side. This may be one of the shows that doesn't benefit from watching it after it ended. Unless they drag out the plot that Brody was turned over three seasons, that is. But even though, those shows are never black and white so my guess is this goes much deeper.
