Seven seasons and I'm still struck by how ponderous the finales are. And the final scene was magic.
Fantastic Season! The Real Homeland
"And you, Senator, you can get the fuck out of my White House." FUCK YEH, Beau Bridges!!!!
Really good final episode. Keane's speech was amazing. It gave me goosebumps. Elizabeth Marvel is really a brilliant actress. Can't wait where the final season is going.
Great great great season! What an ending !
This felt like a whole movie, I loved it. Homeland always knows how to end their seasons.
Oh what a ride. This season was extremely stupid.
Like the last episode, this was another terrible episode. The resignation was unbelievably a bad idea. A woman president can't lead, she has to resign so things can go forward? Terrible on all levels.
Can somebody explain why Carrie's bipolar disorder would make her "lose her mind" in the way that was depicted in the finale when she's off her meds for a lengthy period of time? She's gone off her meds many times before, including the beginning of this season. Yeah it makes her have an extreme personality, and make bad decisions, but she's still mostly sane. Why has the situation changed this season? I suppose the hallucinations she had in episode 9 may suggest there's more to it than bipolar, but I saw that as a reaction to the trauma of losing custody of her child and almost hitting her with her car. Maybe I missed something.
Weak and needless season.
The only glimmer of light was Beau Bridges, he's an impeccable actor.
Great season and great episode. This is the only episode in which I did not detest Kane.
Amazing Finale!!!!! Homeland is the only series that just gets better over time...
