The King of Town DVD is a DVD-style update of an older King of Town cartoon. It includes commentary by Strong Bad, storyboards and the old version. In the toon, the King of Town sends Homestar and Pom Pom to investigate the whereabouts of his sheep.
Homestar wants to get a birthday gift for Marzipan, but can't decide what to get. Coach Z advises him to get something rare and exotic, so Homestar, Pom Pom, and Strong Sad head out to catch the Yello Dello. The DVD is complete with commentary, the old version of the cartoon, and deleted scenes. The characters are drawn in a stylized fashion.
Marzipan is certain to win the Reddest Radish contest. Strong Bad and company forge a note from Homestar Runner to Marzipan, saying he's sick, to lure her away from her house. This cartoon has a unique "paper doll cut-out" visual style and laughtrack.
Coach Z can't say the word job. The rest of the gang tries to teach him. JAERB!
Marzipan and Strong Bad's parties just happen to fall on the same day, but Strong Bad's seems to fall apart...
