I watched the whole tv show and despite what everyone said about, I loved it, and don't understand how so many people hated.

I don't get why so much of fiction set in modern day America (like this show) still has old white guys as the president. I get that maybe they don't want to make people think it is an exact Obama expy, but there are other options than 'old white guy' (young white guy, old black guy, girl, whatever). Obviously this is a small part of this show, but the show is pretty bland otherwise.
