Atlanta residents Wade Dunn and Koddy Lester Dunn have been married for three years, and run their own web development business from home while taking care of their six kids. The Lester-Dunn Family is thrilled to be traveling out of the state, and dream of going to a place that has a beach and amusement parks for family fun. They couldn't be more excited to find out that House Hunters on Vacation is sending them to San Diego, California. Not only is San Diego a coastal city with beautiful beaches and bays, but it also has world famous theme parks and big attractions for this family of eight to explore, after they've chosen a house to stay in. Seeing three completely different homes gives the Lester-Dunn family a lot to choose from. Which one did they choose? Once they make their selection they enjoy both the gorgeous home, and everything that San Diego has to offer.

They've been in Modesto for the last few years, putting down roots and raising their three very active daughters. While they find their work fulfilling they have to live on a very tight budget. It hasn't always been easy but Martin and Tory are very good at weighing the things they want vs. the things they all actually need.
Kizmat and James Tention from Marietta, Georgia along with their two children Steven and Anaya are in for a big surprise when House Hunters on Vacation surprises them with a dream vacation to the gorgeous Caribbean Island of St. Thomas. While James is busy with his full-time job as a technical engineer, Kizmat is pulling double duty as a full-time mom and going back to school at night for her college degree in psychology. Their nineteen year old son Steve is a college freshman so with two tuitions to pay for, there is little money to take a well-deserved family vacation until now. HGTV is picking up the tab to send the Tentions to tour three luxurious homes in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. The one they pick will be theirs for a week to enjoy. After seeing the three luxury homes the Tentions have a tough decision to make. Will they vacation in the Cliff House with the amazing outdoor gourmet kitchen? The Colorful Villa with the infinity pool? Or the Asian Inspired Retreat that comes with a private chef?
