With one toddler and another baby on the way, James and Erin want to upsize to a bigger home in Phoenix Arizona. James, an attorney, is all about getting the wow factor. He wants a huge modern home with the most square footage they can afford. But, Erin, a stay-at-home mom, wants a traditional style home that's a manageable size. It's a tall order to fill, even with a budget of over a million dollars.

Dave and Nicole are hoping to find as a nice a home in their new city of Atlanta as they had previously in Charlotte, North Carolina. But the massive 4 bedroom remodel they had there may be difficult to replicate in the pricey Atlanta suburbs they're targeting. Will they be able to change their standards, or will they blow their budget to get what they want?

Angie is searching for a home in the horse country of Baltimore county, close to the barn where she boards her horse, Princess. She also wants a traditional colonial home large enough to entertain her big Greek family. Coming along on the hunt is little siter Trini, a rock climbing instructor and born risk-taker, who wants to push Angie outside her comfort zone, towards a younger, more modern place. Will Angie settle on a traditional home, or will Trini be able to convince her to get a hip, modern pad?

Tired of cramped apartments and high prices in NYC, Craig and Frank have decided to move back home to Detroit to be near family and friends. These first time homebuyers are looking for a 1920's Craftsman in suburban Royal Oak and have only got one week to find a place. They'll have her hands full not only with the tight time crunch, but with their long wish list which includes wanting be within walking distance of downtown.

Paul and Neely live in Helena, Alabama, near Birmingham, and love taking family vacations at Lake Martin two hours away. This past year they bought a boat and have decided that they need a house to go with it. Paul would like a "fish camp" style place like the houses that were built on the lake in the 1920's and 30's, while Neely would be very happy with a cottage-like home with great views. Can they agree on a dream vacation house, or be stuck driving 4 hours every weekend?

A growing family running out of space has decided to look for a bigger home in the family-friendly towns of Murrieta and Temecula, California. He's willing to take on a fixer-upper, but she's lived through his slow-moving renovations before and wants something move-in-ready. She wants all the bells and whistles -- hardwood floors, granite counters, and plantation shutters. And he wants space to park the RV he dreams of one day buying. To find all that, this growing family may need a growing budget.

Shortly after relocating to Los Angeles for work, Allison realized she was priced out of L.A.'s pricey housing market. So she's headed back to her hometown, Phoenix, where prices are more reasonable. Huntsville, Alabama couple Desmond and Lauren love working on their cars. Since their tiny apartment rental doesn't have a garage, they're on the hunt for a home with space for a workshop. But that's just the beginning of a very extensive wish list. They also want an all-brick home, a top-of-the-line kitchen, and a "princess bathroom" for Lauren. With an entry-level budget, the realities of what they can actually afford will soon have them hitting the brakes.

DeShon and Cynthia moved from Lansing, Michigan, to Las Vegas to help start a church. Now these expectant parents are on the hunt for a large home where their family can grow. He dreams of a 2nd floor balcony overlooking the city where he can relax, while Mom dreams of getting away from it all in a private casita. Johann moved in with his girlfriend Allison after losing his home in a fire. Now engaged to be married, the couple wants to find a new, bigger home in Seattle. They both want to be as close to the action of downtown Seattle as possible, but disagree on style. She wants a cozy Craftsman with charming details like crown molding, he's drawn to ultra-modern homes with clean, contemporary lines. Even with a big budget, they may not be able to find a place that meets both their design demands!

San Diego Surfer Kevin wants to find a bungalow on the beach. Standing in his way is his wife, Eryn, who prefers the suburbs farther inland where they can get a bigger house for their future family. After seeing options in both locations, will she be able to convince him the burbs are better for their family, or will he get his surf shack?
