eyo, why the hate? so far it's pretty decent, maybe it lacks action a bit in comparaison to other isekais but the story is interesting enough to grant it a watch

This was really a great show with a realistic concept and plot but after the war with Amidonia it became more of a "slice of life-ish" show than a political one. Pleasant and heart-warming stories are nice but this type of plot requires more intense fights than what was shown.
I'm definitely hoping for a sequel.

Just want to say that the second cour of the anime was WAY better than the first. The show definitely started out very slow (which was compounded a bit more if you were watching it while it was airing like I was) and definitely had some pacing issues. However, about halfway through the first cour things started to get interesting and really picked up. After that, there was no more looking back and the anime series as a whole really hit its stride.

I enjoyed how the second season was able to touch upon a lot of different elements within the kingdom, especially later. In particular, I really liked the final episode and how things ended (not gonna spoil it). I'd love to see more from this series as the light novel and manga are pretty popular still, but they did stop at a pretty good point at the end of this season.

I was really quite a fan of this one focusing more on the kingdom itself rather than just a big bad demon lord or something.

Amazing show, I am waiting for part 3

One of the few anime series that is not only not full of weakling "heros", but actually has respectable charactwrs. It is also exceptionally well written. We have strong characters with good intellect and good emotional stability. The interplay between characters is believable and actually interesting.

Boring show. And no: I don't always need fighting scenes and I love Slice of Life. But this show was very slow in the beginning and the "big" plot twist was neither exciting.
