Hunting the Doorstep Conmen is a documentary series which takes a look at the murky world of rip-off merchants and follows those are tasked with catching them as the series goes behind the scenes with Britain’s trading standards departments.
Conor Woodman follows trading standards officers in Oxfordshire and North Yorkshire as they track down people suspected of tricking the elderly and vulnerable out of their savings. He meets those who have been defrauded and their relatives to gain an insight into how the doorstep con artists prey on their victims' trust and age-related conditions such as dementia.
