Ryan (Sebastian La Cause) has trouble focusing on the job. A client (Wilson Cruz) gives him some perspective. Ryan and Liv (Jessica Press) reunite on a gig.
Ryan (Sebastian La Cause) meets with his estranged mother Lena (Sharon Washington) and tries to connect with her. Jay (Andrew Glaszek) asks Ryan for a favor; and Geoffrey (Gerald McCullouch) tries to get a little closer to Ryan.
Ryan (Sebastian La Cause) gets some cooking tips and family advice from his land lady, Rosa (Daphne Rubin-Vega); Liv (Jessica Press) gets a reality check from Joel (Kevin Spirtas); Lena (Sharon Washington) tries to understand Ryan's love of cooking and Ryan visits his agent Don Dixon (Stephen Guarino) to talk about his 'plan'.
Ryan gets a repeat visit from Dr. Gabe Bermudez (Wilson Cruz) and then meets up with anther client who takes him someplace unexpected where he meets Boyd (Robert Montano) and Catherine (Monica Lawson, a married couple who mistake him for someone else; Liv (Jessica Press) feels the pressure.
Ryan and Liv (Jessica Press) deal with some relationship issues. Rosa (Daphne Rubin-Vega) makes a surprise visit and bearing gifts. Ryan works at an Acropolis Party and commiserates with fellow porn actor Julien Massi (Facundo Rodriguez).
Ryan tries to open to Jay (Andrew Glaszek) about his relationship with Liv and some other thoughts he's been having. Jay springs some surprising news on him. Ryan gets an unexpected visitor and spends an unlikely afternoon experimenting before receiving a phone call from a treatment counselor (Gail Herendeen) who gives him some news about his mother.
Ryan visits his mother Lena (Sharon Washington) and gets a dose of reality from her treatment counselor Lorraine Munson (Gail Herendeen). Liv (Jessica Press) has second thoughts about her future but her gal pal Charlie (Mara Davi) keeps her in check. Julien Massi (Facundo Rodriguez) has a few friends over; Ryan finds comfort in Rosa (Daphne Rubin-Vega).
Ryan expresses some relief to his client, Dr. Gabe Bermudez (Wilson Cruz). Jay (Andrew Glaszek) takes a meeting with Ryan's porn agent Don Dixon (Stephen Guarino) while Geoffrey (Gerald McCullouch) uses Ryan as his sous chef on a job. Liv (Jessica Press) takes Charlie (Mara Davi) to Joel's (Kevin Spirtas) house in the Hamptons where she gets an unexpected surprise.
Ryan (Sebastian La Cause) confronts Liv (Jessica Press) about her secret life. Geoffrey (Gerald McCullouch) feels the pressure as he struggles to prepare dinner for Joel (Kevin Spirtas) and Liv. Charlie (Mara Davi) has her own agenda.
Ryan (Sebastian La Cause) gets some surprising news from Lorraine Munson (Gail Herendeen) when he goes to visit his mother Lena (Sharon Washington). His ex career counselor/client Mitchell (Gary Cowling) tries to get him back on his feet. Liv (Jessica Press) makes a decision; Jay (Andrew Glaszek) starts a new career and Ryan negotiates a deal.
