A brilliant, darker-edged, hard-hitting Fleabag-esque dark comedy featuring an astounding performance by Billie Piper - bloody hell, how good is the Baftas right now? Gloriously inventive, completely unafraid to go where it wants to go and might just well end up being one of the best shows of last year.
[SkyShowtime] A series so intense that it is built like an emotional roller coaster from the different stages of a destabilizing situation. There is great writing in this description of a character who needs to accept herself, with her flaws and her bad decisions, perfectly portrayed by a Billie Piper who seems to be embodying herself, not only as a creator but also as an actress. Humor doesn't hide painful situations, especially in relation to the male characters, especially in a perfect last episode of S1 and a much more depressing S2.
