Deep in the waters of Loch Ness lies Nessie, otherwise known as the Loch Ness monster.

With a bolt of lightning and a flash of thunder, Dracula appears from hiding to tell us his unearthly tale. Unable to stand daylight, he rests in his coffin during the day, only appearing by night in the guise of a bat. This famous monster is out to get your blood.

Sitting and watching a depiction of himself in a Hollywood film, Frankenstein's monster int tells his side of the story. Put together with bits of bones, arms and eyeballs, this rugged creature was brought to life in a rather unusual way.

Sneaking out from behind a tree, we meet Bunyip, a very shy vegetarian monster. Hailing from Australia, this abnormal looking creature likes to hang out around rivers and pools. He also has the unique method of hugging his predators when attacked.

Hidden well below a volcano we encounter three one-eyed giants known as the Cyclops Brothers. These bad tempered giants have been around since the Ancient Greek times, and spend their time making weapons for the Olympians. As we wake her from her sleep, the Dragon reluctantly introduces herself. This old and wise monster is the ultimate bringer of terror from the skies. And beware she is very hungry, so make sure you have your cows locked up.

Situated in the Himalayan Mountains is a brightly lit cave where the Yeti lives. A believer in peace, this fearsome looking monster actually runs a Mountain Rescue Service. Having been pursued for years by climbers, hunters and expeditions, all this monster wants is to be left alone.

Chilling out on a rock above the sea is the very glamorous Mermaid. Not believing she is a monster, she glides beneath the ocean telling us her unique characteristics. Ready for a night of haunting, we stumble across Blackshuck, a black hairy dog found in the British Isles. This dog isnt fussy, he will haunt wherever he finds spooky. Believed to be the inspiration for a Sherlock Holmes story, this creature also claims he protects lone women walking in the night. Perhaps its wise not to look into his fiery gaze.

With the clap of her wings, the Thunderbird of North America brings thunder to the valleys of Beaver Prairie. This supernatural bird also has the ability to pull clouds together to make rain. A protector of the people, this colorful bird has immense power and strength- although these days, she hasn't got many people to protect.

Biwa is a type of lute, and this Tsukomogami was played and loved for more than 100 years- giving her a soul and a life of her own. We find her on a tip with other Tsukomogami- a prankish chamberpot and a grumpy chair. They hate wasteful selfish behaviour, and the modern habit of making things not to last...
