Motor Trend Technical Director Frank Markus heads to the Circuit Paul Ricard in the South of France. Here he will test the most powerful iteration of the Mercedes SLS AMG, the Black Series. While there, Mercedes pulls wheels out its ecofriendly brother, the Electric Drive, and let's Frank have a go at it.

Carlos travels to France to test out the two door version of the soon-to-be-released US spec four dour Fiesta ST hatchback, to see how it holds up next to other sport compact hatches, and its slightly bigger brother, the Ford Focus ST.

Will this new entry level kinder-Benz find the same fate as C230 sport coupe from several years ago, or is this a completely new philosophy on an entry level luxury car?

Angus Mackenzie pays a visit to Molsheim, France to explore the history and development behind the world's most expensive street legal super car, the Bugatti Veyron. The Veyron has a turbocharged 16-cylinder engine that makes more than 1000hp, can accelerate to 60mph in about 2.7 seconds, goes faster than 250mph, and costs well over a million dollars. Afterwards, Angus then heads to Ehra-Lessien near Wolfsburg, Germany to witness the next iteration of the Veyron, the Vitesse, take on a top speed record challenge, before ultimately getting behind the wheel himself.

Kim Reynolds heads to Pamplona, Spain to have a look at some of Jaguar's classic entries in the sports car realm, and also to get his hands on their latest convertible sports car, the F-Type. The F-type has an all-aluminum body and a new all-aluminum, 3.0-liter supercharged direct-injection V-6 based on the 5.0-liter V-8, with balance shafts, a dual independent variable cam timing system, and a Roots-type twin vortex supercharger mounted in the engine's vee.

Carlos Lago is back and driving all four generations of his favorite German sports car, the BMW M3.
