Loved the series, I watched it with low to zero expectations but it really surprised me. I'm a huge fan of the movie Jumper, so when this show was released I had to watch it!
To be honest I didn't expect most of the things that occurred, which made me love it even more, there are some annoying bits like how henry reacts to the things that happen to her and the people around her, even the side characters can be a tad annoying but still made the series better specially her sister in law and townes. Im sure the next season will be even better (if there is a new season).
Anyways I'd recommend it, since I finished it in two days.
Seemed to be geared to a younger audience. Yet I still found myself playing one more episode. I must admit the teleporting did interest me. I finished it all 10 episodes in 2 days & it did leave me waiting for the next season.
Awesome show! hope they make more soon.
Demolished all ten episodes in one sitting. Couldn't stop watching, absolutely captivating. Takes a long hard look some hard topics while building up some very relate-able characters. Thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for more.
I would have to say this is my favorite new show of 2018! Loved every episode, and especially loved Maddie Hasson's performance.
I really hope it gets renewed. (EDIT: It apparently has! YES!)
I enjoyed. Came across it randomly, but recognized the lead from Twisted and decided to give it a go, the premise seemed interesting. Ending up loving it, but that’s not too hard with zero expectations. Saw it all in one. I’m looking forward to the next season! It’s been renewed!
I’m late to the party with this one. I’m shocked I’ve not heard of it.
I didn’t expect anything much from this show, thought it was maybe a lame teenage show, but it’s actually excellent.
It’s got a similar concept to the film Jumper, but far superior. Jumper is ok and I enjoyed it, but this show has a much deeper plot. It’s very well done, from acting, production, the whole lot.
I’m glad in a way I’m late watching it, as I’ve been able to binge watch two seasons.
It’s made me wonder how many other excellent shows I’ve missed!
This show is simply WOW, the way they manage such a fantastic story and adding all (yes, theres more then 2) those todays so real problems is simply impressive
I had forgotten how moody & annoying Henry is. I guess not much has improved from season 1's acting. Hopefully rest of season 2 is good.
Quiero ver la maldita serie y no puedo csm.... solo vi asta el EP 3
It’s epic! Watch 3 episodes and getting more impressed by the sec! Curious what’s coming!
Surprisingly good series. Left a lot of threads to explore in subsequent seasons while handling the origin and team establishment well. So when's the next season?
Just finished watching It, loved the show, the plots and how open the ending is, I would love to recommend it based on the good performance of Maddie Hasson and It's relation with the Jumper universe, but the way the series deals with the use of drugs doesn't really seems in place for me and really doesn't strike me as a good message to give to the audience, the characters seems to use drugs to escape and sometimes It seems they are only able to be themselves or to talk seriously or trustfully when on drugs and this is just so sad to be seen as the normality, all the contrary is the series approach to the social and personal effect produced by sexual assault It's something that I have never seen so fully and well represented as It is in this series, It makes you empathize a lot with the suffering that any person can suffer in this kind of crimes, It's just in my opinion a pitty that drugs were mixed in all this.
what a fucking boring rape awareness Show with teleporting as a side Story. dropped.
Very impressed with this show. Wasn't expecting quality like this from YouTube. The actress that plays Henry does a fantastic job. A solid 8 from me for this show!
This show has no right being as good as it is. It's criminal how few people are talking about this show.
Season 1 was absolutely superb. Binge watched it competely. Season 2 starts out great too.
I can give only 1 negative comment about the series, which is that supposedly the girls are around 16 - which just doesnt match up with their behaviour and actions (and how they look, as the actresses are real life 24'ish). Would have made so much more sense if they'd be 18/19/20 or so. Would not have had to change anything for the story, in my opinion.
When I first watched the movie Jumper, I was like meh, entertaining but nothing with substance.
Then this series came out and I was immediately hooked. First season started of very strong and the second season just became better.
I really love Lucas's and Henry's character arc. Henry is just overwhelmed with everything happening and doesn't have time to breathe. This show is messy as real life, there are no convenient coincidences. This looks like a renewal for season 3.
But I can't understand how Henry just forgets about Anna. After everything died down, I expected her to search for her, but instead she goes to Barcelona...
So boring that I watch it to help myself fall asleep.
Worst crap i ever watched almost a full ep xD
Season 3 was supposedly announced for October 2021 ! Very surprising news!
As the show progresses, Henry becomes harder and harder to digest. The teleporting thing quickly takes a back seat and heavier topics take the spotlight. While said topics are worthy of being show and would make for a solid awareness show (if that's your thing), in this one they are distracting and ultimately destructive for the show.
Henry herself goes from a victim to an insufferable person who makes one mistake after another making it very hard to cheer for her. Shame, ruined a good premise.
R.I.P. Impulse. You were a real one
Another ho-hummer, "announcement(s)" show disguising itself as... entertainment.
The movie based on this universe is 10x better
If this show spent just half as much time on the Jumper Lore as it does on Vajayjay-hat wearing female empowerment and sexual identity it might be a half-decent show. Apparently the only "good men" are the ones who ask women every 3 minutes or so "...Was that ok..." or "...Did I do something wrong..." As it stands, it's nothing more than one more hollywood (oops... err... I mean YouTube) cringe-fest that attempts to preach instead of entertain. I think I read a comment that said the show is character-driven:joy::rofl::joy::rofl::joy::rofl:. No the show is agenda-driven.
In an era of under-recognized shows on obscure platforms, Impulse might be the most under-recognized. I don't care what you think this is going in, what it is is a fantastic television show. It's character-driven at its heart, it has wonderfully realistic dialogue, and Maddie Hasson is truly giving one of the better performances on TV; she's a star. This show has so much heart.
Looks like Henry is still moody & annoying. Honestly all the supporting characters are much more likable & do a better acting job then the lead in this show. Besides that, it feels that not much forward progress is made in Season 2 except towards the last 2 minutes of the last episode of Season 2. If you plan to watch this show, you can probably skip 70% of the show & you would probably get a good idea what the it's about & where it's leading towards.
This show has potential but the writing could seriously use some help. The writers have made the lead way too moody...to a point where you want to reach across the TV & slap her. Besides that part, it’s bearable to watch. I hope they get a new writing staff for the next season. The show does have potential.
watched two episodes thus far and frankly I am really enjoying it. #jumperverse

This show really surprise me! I thought it was just going to be another teenage angst show, which definitely have some aspects of that to it, but also much much more to the show! Young actors are great, and a lot of good storylines! Really kept me on the edge of my seat through the first six episodes anyway !!
