It should have been called "In Another World with Too Many Wives".
I watched season 2 hoping for more cool phone + magic. There was not enough to outweigh the council of wives forcing the main character into more engagements with whoever walked into view.

Harem op fanservice trash. Doesn't even try to be fun to watch.

Story was on the downside but it was fun to watch. If someone is a fan of OP MC then they'll definitely love it.
Best part of the episodes were those Chibi Intervals, they were hilarious. Looking forward to future seasons :fingers_crossed:

Very surprisingly, this was one of my personal favorites from last season. I've always been a fan of an OP MC with a massive harem, but this one really hit all the right notes especially since he actually gets balls deep in there. If you enjoyed the anime at all, I highly recommend checking out the Web Novel/Light Novel source material. It is fantastic and one of my favorites to read for some unadulterated fun. They add a lot more details and some missing story elements from the anime, so I would actually recommend re-reading the whole thing even if you did watch the show. It's a pretty easy and fun read, so you'll definitely enjoy it either way.

The official Light Novel translation is 4 volumes in (5th is coming out in a few days) and is the best version so far. The Web Novel also has a pretty good fan translation done by RaisingTheDead, and goes pretty far ahead as well. Albeit, it is still only at 205 out of 450 chapters translated, but they are pumping out about 2-3 chapters each week.

Season 1 started okay...I loved the adventures the most and him learning what he could do in that world...and then Season 2 came and it devolved into little ladies pressuring the mc to marry them. Shallow feelings that they call love, the council of wives has become too large that only 2 or 3 are in any episode that has an actual role. And as a viewer we barely know them except from that one time they "fell in love" to the mc which is basically the one time the mc did something kind or sweet towards them. Maybe I would've liked this if I was 15 and don't know anything about life.

I hope season 3 has more adventures and less of the shallow relationships. There's still 2 wives left (that were too obvious tbh, the last s2 episode keeps on showing them together) and the phrases and the remaining floating islands (I already forgot what they're called). Also weirdly enough this isekai/harem anime is also turning into mecha. :joy:

If you enjoy isekai with overpowered, romantically clueless MC it's worth giving a try.
I call this "true harem" as he actually enters into engagements with the girls (in the manga I believe the total is 9). This is very mild ecchi (some cleavage, anything naughty is always covered.
While they do form a family unit over time the anime covers them meeting and getting to know each other. It's pretty wholesome over all.

It made me smile and chuckle and I'm really hoping for a season 3.

Apparently, season 2 will be released this year

If you like the animes where the MC is OP and with a big harem... You will love this show. Perhaps a second season will come because the source is not over yet.

Season 1 has just finished airing (in English, at least; the Japanese language version was a few weeks ahead) and this series has been fun so far, although there has been little to no conflict for our hero.

Sword Art Online's Kirito, now called Touya, is dropped in a fantasy land and given an iPhone and unlimited use of the realm's magic, which is traditionally very limited. As such, he quickly rises in power and establishes a harem of girls ranging from grade school to early high school. He's arranged to marry the youngest (at that point), who is 11, but winds up romantically attached to a total of four of them.

It's not a bad show by any means. It's a lot of fun to watch if you don't mind an unbeatable protagonist, hence the reference to Kirito before. They really aren't the same person, but they could have fooled me. Anyway, you could do a lot worse.
