It’s Tamar’s last day at “The Centre,” and she's released into the world for the first time. In her inaugural session with therapist Dr. Kessler, Tamar is overwhelmed with future possibilities – and how to control her unknown powers.
Clara “Walker” has returned for her weekly appointment with Dr. Kessler. It’s been a regular week and therapy session, until she makes a huge request from Dr. Kessler.
The government has sent a new patient to Dr. Kessler, and according to them, he is dangerous. In court-mandated therapy for six weeks, Dr. Kessler meets Robert “Linc” Lincoln - a werewolf - for the first time, and we soon see he has a strong agenda, and not a lot of love for Kessler.
Clara is noticing more symptoms this week. She is frustrated by Dr. Kessler, who refuses to give her what she wants and sign the form allowing her to pursue physician-assisted suicide.
Michelle’s daughter, Mira, is home from school, and sneaks a peak into her private life. Michelle’s ex-husband - and policeman - Will and her bond over their daughter. They discuss the past, her ex wife, until Michelle makes a move.
Linc is back and Dr. Kessler lays down the rules. He agrees to listen, but his acceptance is conditional- Kessler has to recognize and check her privilege if they want to get anywhere.
We see that Will - Kessler's ex husband - is perhaps too interested in Linc. He's investigating a rumoured terror attack by Lycan Superior, and suspects Linc is involved. He shows Kessler "Clawmarks," Linc's activist vlogs. In session, Linc starts to open up to Kessler. Talking about how they're not so different after all, she lets him know about the dangers of her job. It's not easy money. When asked why she's helping him game the system now, she responds "your videos, Linc. They changed everything."
Dr Kessler watches an old video from Clara’s first year of sessions and is reminded about how far she has come. Clara arrives in a huff for this week’s appointment. They talk about big issues and don’t see eye to eye when Clara forces Kessler to reveal her personal feelings. Their antagonistic session doesn’t end well.
Dr. Kessler watches footage of Graham and Tamar at home. Clearly, Tamar is being monitored by The Centre. Where lie Kessler's allegiances? Tamar shows up to this week’s session in a cool new outfit, she is exploring identities with Graham and it’s fun. Graham is on her mind, and we learn about strong feelings she is developing, which Dr Kessler warns her against.
Clara is introduced to Linc's audience in a new "Clawmarks" video. Linc works on his Vlog for the next week, and shares a separatist paper his therapist wrote. Clara discovers it's Dr Kessler! She makes a split decision that might be considered emotionally unhealthy.
Kessler and Linc find common ground, as she finally understands where he's coming from. Meanwhile, Tamar begins to assert herself and reiterate that she wants autonomy, self-respect... and love.
Tamar reveals a huge secret to Michelle.
Linc talks about when he lived in WolfTower; the last time he was truly happy. Michelle is reinvigorated and thinks she can 'save' Linc by way of Clara. Is she out of her lane?
Clara calls Michelle out on her intentions.
Graham warns Tamar about contacting someone she met at the fair, and she starts keeping things from Dr. Kessler.
Linc has second thoughts about his role in Lycan Superior, when he meets with fellow Lycan and his lawyer, Cal Tulley.
Linc bursts into Kessler's office, terrified. His name's been leaked publicly as a member of Lycan Superior - and now, he thinks, enemies of Superior want him dead. Can Kessler convince him to go to the police? And will that really keep him safe?
Six weeks later after the attack. Kessler is recovering, her ex-wife Rachel has returned to check on her. Perhaps this situation is making her rethink her priorities. Kessler finally sees what Clara needs.
Kessler and Bader fundamentally disagree about Linc, his intentions, and her saviour complex. Meanwhile, Mira tells her mum to look after herself - before it's too late.
Tamar returns to Dr. Kessler after six weeks, hiding her new relationship with Graham. In her own words, she develops a sense of sarcasm and a desire for autonomy.
A glimpse at Graham's real motives and Clara has a very important talk with Linc.
A CCTV feed reveals Tamar used her powers when she and Graham were held at knifepoint. Meanwhile, Rachel and Kessler have a conversation they should've had six months ago.
Clara admits she hasn't told her Dad about her plans...and Frank gives his two cents.
Linc and Tulley are at impasse – and have a conversation only one can leave alive.
Linc confronts Kessler about the mess they’re in and her hand in Clara’s decision.
Rachel gives Kessler an ultimatum: close the practice and move away with her.
The Centre recommends Tamar return to them. She's not going back.
Clara says goodbye.
Kessler urges Tamar to be careful of Graham and the Centre's intentions, but she cannot get a hold of her. Meanwhile, Michelle informs Mira of her plans to close the practice and move back in with Rachel - until Linc calls her with a dangerous ultimatum.
Kessler and Linc have a reckoning. They're more alike than he knows.
Upon realizing Graham's duped her, Tamar comes to Dr. Kessler in a panic: and Michelle informs her about her history.
After what she did for Tamar, Michelle tells Rachel she's not going to New Haven.
Linc is healing, and says his goodbye to Clawmarks. Kessler frantically tries to get her affairs in order before she's taken away to an undisclosed location by Graham and the Centre.
