''One more round in the stormy romance of you two! Never been about me. I was just a roof shingle that flew off of your house... nothing's been about me, it was never about me." - Claudia

Aaaand there we have it!
Even knowing the end was near, I'm still surprised by it, by the sheer brutal finality with which it came... and you know what? I hate it! Oh, the show is great, the acting is phenomenal, but I still hate this episode and look forward to everyone else's demise.

9/10 - for the number this did on everyone's heads.

Well, that was as spellbinding and tough as last episode's ending promised. Lestat's and Santiago's performers on the same stage together are pure fireworks (the way they keep clashing on the script is welcome note of levity in a heavy ep), while Louis and Claudia are just heartbreaking throughout.

Geez, I thought the depiction in the movie had been painful enough to watch but making it this entire episode, coupled with the anticipation previously generated... On the other hand, at least we got to experience Madeleine's relationship with Claudia all the way through.

Now I genuinely wonder how much of both accounts of events is misleading and how much can be trusted.

At this point it's not as easy to pity Louie, I guess I'll have to wait and see how did he and Armand (whom now I find easy to pity) left Paris.
