[7.2/10] Should probably grade this one with Pt. 2, but on first blush it’s kind of weird, lumpy episode. There’s some great comedy interludes there -- I love the bit with Charlie and Dee staring at the ceiling while Charlie offer’s increasingly absurd euphemisms about criminal activity, or the gang attributing their efforts’ failure to Mac’s bossiness -- but there’s not much momentum despite the pretty clear throughline of the story.

The Sopranos knockoffs aren’t especially funny (though Bingo has his moments), and the escapades at the country club seem like they should be more humorous given the premise of letting this idiots loose in such a hoity-toity locale. Charlie hanging out with jockeys doesn’t go very far (though his shock that they can talk is amusing), and the same goes for Dennis trying to be a gigolo (or “handsome male companion”). Frank trying to teach everyone a lesson and demanding people not mention his name has some juice, but otherwise it’s an up and down episode.
