[7.1/10] Eh, perfectly fine. The TGI Fridays-esque shenanigans were OK. Mostly, the episode felt a little discombobulated. Charlie was amusing with his little spiel about “putting on my job helmet,” and Frank teaming up with his old street gang/doo-wop group had some charm, but for the most part this felt like the show coasting a bit with the obvious escalation between the gang and the waitress at the chain restaurant. It’s another tribute to the gang’s terribleness between Dee taking The Waitress’s help for granted and Dennis using her attraction to him to skate by, but the show didn’t wring much comedy out of it. (Though Charlie interviewing Dennis for the bartending job was worth a laugh.) On the whole, a weaker outing for this season.
