"Oh, get over it."
Liked the Serpico references, as a European I wasn't familiar with that person (not a big Pacino fan), as well as the Naked Gun references. Clive solving cases like Drebin and being treated like Nordberg. Hihi. Glad to see Du Clark going in the direction I thought he would with Rita (in season 3).
The newspaper story about Clive referenced iZombie itself by saying "the better part of the last two years" his arrest record was unimpeachable (thanks, Liv). Two seasons being two "years" and/or roughly two (real) years ago this show got officially picked up by The CW and started airing a year (last year) after that. I love these little details where you can read into it, since this show does give hints here and there on purpose. On an unrelated note that snack bar cashier has a surprisingly great, "bass-y" and calming voice.
"How much time have you got"-cliché and then they go through with it, making it not a cliché line, that was hilarious. I must say I like Blaine the way he is now. He's been a comic relief for some time now but on the other hand, he feels like a blanko character.
When the story runs into a one-way street, or there needs to be a fast way out of a story branch he could be shifting to one side to achieve that way out: evil by remembering or good by never remembering/getting a change of heart thing.
Being a very clever and one of the best writing teams I've seen in many, many years, I am staying positive here, but it does feel like that anyway.
You know, I am not a fan of episodes that are "only" great at the end and kind of baiting you to keep watching the next episode.
But the buildup in this show to these kind of episode endings is simply amazing and incredibly enjoyable to me.
There the FBI ruined Du Clarks impromptu plan...
Perhaps that was better, since Du Clark being a memory-lost shell may not be helpful. While he is a danger, he also has the power or rather ressources and knowledge to create/help create a cure and it wouldn't help Rita either, if the head of that company forgets his daughter. A dangerous line Major and Ravi want to walk here.
Major being incarcerated could become an issue for everyone. If I had to guess, I'd say Du Clark empties Major's storage shed he just found out about and the FBI can't find bodies and/or evidence and they let him go. So, Major ows Du Clark and the latter has more leverage (and more zombies to do tests on). I wonder how Clive will react to all of this.
But since he enlists for the FBI, I sense a deathflag for his girlfriend.
Is the setting at the beginning of the episode Piz's studio from Veronica Mars?
A brain from a girl that was like Liv and see now what happens with Major
