The final sequence where it's half dreaming and half reality is sublime! Might be one of the best scripts David Milch has written, the man's a poet and although one will see John's dialogue as rubbish, it's done in iambic pentameter and reminiscent to a EE Cummings poem.
Also, I love how this shares the same theme of the community as Deadwood. WIth what's going on right now, I'm reminded of how I'm comforted when I see the same group of characters in one place, this is why TV is great!
