It took a long time for Lithuanian artist Vitas Lucku's stunning photos to reach the public eye. The artist received little recognition during his lifetime and the Soviet authorities stood in the way of his exhibitions. When Vitas took his life at the age of 43 by jumping from his apartment in Vilnius, he disappeared into oblivion. It would take Lithuanian independence in 1990 before the photos from all corners of the Soviet Union were exhibited. In this documentary, Vita's photography colleagues, friends and his wife Tatyana look back on his tumultuous life and time in the apartment where Vitas and Tatyana lived with a lion kid, and received artists from all over Lithuania.
