Not sure if Michel Gondry is still directly involved with Kidding, but this episode was definitely one of the most Michel-Gondry-esque ones. The sets changing in real-time, the puppets, the musical bits... It's all part of his audio-visual signature and direction style. All of this translated into a superb episode that, while not providing much advancement to the actual story, was truly a feast for the senses and delight to watch! Also, if provided some deeper insight into Jeff's personality and set a defining course for the episodes to come: Mr. Pickles is about to change, this time for real!
This season has started with a good pace and I'm so glad the show seems far from losing its quirky mojo.

Oh my God.
The "I trusted you Peter..." number with those shoulder moves - GENIUS!
I can't put my finger on it, but this episode is, to me, a pinnacle of comedy drama television.
And sneaky onion ninjas everywhere.
DON'T DO DRUGS!
