As much as I enjoy it when John Oliver digs into a serious issue and explores it in a funny way, sometimes it's fun to just watch him riff on lighter stuff. Not that the Canadian election isn't serious, but for the most part his commentary centered on the picadillos of the various candidates rather than on substantive policy stuff, which was all a lot of fun and very funny. The supporting material, including quotes taken out of context (a few which I thought were real myself), and the jokes about the situations in Denmark and Mexico as well were less substantive and more just straight up comedy, not that I'm complaining. Good episode.
