One of my current fav shows. Great acting, great story with many twists and great pacing.

Simply the best police procedural ever made. Superbly acted, memorable characters and delicious, twising plots.
WOW!! Just... wow. This show is by far the BEST show on Tv. I can't belive they can jam so much information into one episode. Almost every episode ends with a major cliff-hanger and sometimes even a "didn't see that coming!!"
Season 3 was a complete mind-bender..
They've just anounced that there's going to be a season 5 - can't wait and I haven't even seen season 4 yet.

i don't get it...whats the point of the show? in both series they haven't made a good arrest(each time its just circumstantial). their investigations are still open at the end of each season.
as far as the characters go we haven't seen any good behaviour from those who are investigating the alleged corrupt cops. they are short tempered,gambler,unfaithful(to the investigation as well as to their partners),...etc.I actually think there should be another Anti-corruption agency to investigate AC-12 unit.
only the character of DI Denton played by Keely Hawes looked to be a well written one.
The best police drama and possibly the greatest tv series ever. The storylines and acting is mind blowing. I’ve only seen the first three series and so excited for the next. So much is encapsulated into each episode means you need to concentrate.

Cannot believe it's taken me until 2021 to hear of this show, let alone watch it. Absolutely fantastic show. Don't even contemplate watching it, just watch. Acting and script are beyond amazing - phenomenal.

Just finished the 4th season of this FANTASTIC series. Excellent cast complete with an exceptional season long, stellar performance in the role of a primary character. Edge of seat action, dizzying twist and turns, superb character arches. Just really fine, fine, drama. Unsurprisingly, I give it a 10 (exceptional) out of 10. P.S. it has been renewed for a fifth season! Can't wait!
Great show, very well done, just started watching season 4.
I just finished the 1st of 4 seasons of this series which takes a dark look at British police work, which I found quite disturbing, for some reason. It portrays constables making choices based on the volume of paperwork it would generate rather than whether it would serve justice; Inspectors falsely lauded but generating results by manipulating stats, Commanders ordering their officers to falsify their reports to cover up fatal mistakes. The drama comes when a few principled and relentless officers, and an anti-corruption division, are thrown into the mix. Can they make a difference, right wrongs and hold the force accountable for justice? It doesn't look good... I gave this an 8 (great) out of 10.

This show is seriously good, some of the best the UK has to offer for sure. Season 2 was even more of a step up and I loved it. Really well done.

The quality of acting and scripting in this show is phenomenal. Whilst each series seems to stand alone there is a running thread and so they are worth watching in order. Fabulous TV.
