Who wants friendly likeable characters? Nobody that wants to see a thrilling drama. Daytime viewing has likeable characters but they must leave the real dramas to the character experts, which this series has. Real drama for real people. Enjoy.

How can Kate even go undercover when it was very public she was with AC 12 and it would be all over her records, even if they were altered. How is she going to get close to her in the short time this series will go on, when last season she was undercover months before the series began.
The boss's relationship is also broken. Thanks for that. Wait, and he just asked his ex to come out and pretend to be his wife to keep things looking "normal" what? That's stupid.
The new detective is ultra defensive of an officer even though she's anti-corruption and it's her job to root out corruption, and also, she wants to shag her male partner the first day they met. And he wants to shag her, too, and they do.
They corner the criminal, and both of them lose against him and the criminal escapes. Stupid.
Wait. The female partner is thrown out the window and dies. Stupid and premature.
Everyone is corrupt and an asshole now. Stupid. In a show about rooting out corruption, giving even more reason to not have everyone be corrupt and an asshole. Stupid.
Ugh, the intelligence of this series disappeared during the finale of last season and never came back.
