But when the time comes to perform, Roy is struck down by terrible stage fright and ends up freezing frame. Sad over letting his parents down, Roy finds a way to overcome his fears and finish the dance with Becky.
Roy is delighted when Bill gives him a toy DIY kit to play with. Bill and Mr Barker warn Roy to be careful with his toy hammer. Roy ignores this advice and accidentally whacks his thumb. This causes his thumb to swell up and talk in a grumpy tone of voice. Roy tries to hide his talking thumb from Bill. But in the end, Roy learns that lying to hide the truth eventually becomes impossible.
Roy is upset that his thought bubbles keep giving him away and getting him in trouble. Tristan tries helping Roy brainstorm how to solve his problem, but accidentally gets soaked by one of Roy's thought bubbles. Roy is fed up and wants to stop thinking. Will Roy continue to believe that his thought bubbles are a weakness or will he see that being a cartoon boy can be a huge advantage?
Roy can't wait to play with Mr Barker's new train set. However, a bout of cartoon hiccups soon get in the way of Roy's playtime. His hiccups cause him to bounce, crash and splat his way through the house and garden. The family gather to offer cures all at once - but none of them work! Roy fears the hiccups will last forever. Spending time with the person you love is far more precious than any gift.
Roy is impressed by Becky and Holly when they show him the numerous badges they have earned from the Girl Scouts by learning new skills. Roy is eager to earn a badge of his own. Maura suggests Roy can earn badges by helping her around the house. Roy happily assists his Mam when she installs a new alarm system. But when Maura accidentally locks herself and Roy out of the house, it is time to put Roy's new skills to the test. Roy uses his superstretchy ability to sneak back into the house through an open upstairs window. He tries to use his quicksilver reflexes to evade the alarm lasers but there are too many. What would Wonder Roy do?
Roy is excited about going to the park to climb trees with Becky and Tristan. But when Maura tells Roy he is too small to climb trees, Roy decides he is sick of being small and stretches himself out until he ends up eight feet tall. Roy thinks all his problems are solved and has a great time climbing trees in the park. But when people react to his giant size with fear and panic, Roy ends up feeling sad and confused. He really thought being tall would be the greatest thing in the world. Roy wonders what Wonder Roy would do?
Roy is playing football by himself in the garden when he notices his dad having a great time on the Barkers' back lawn. Bill invites Roy to join him and play with Mr Barker's prized collection of toy soldiers. They recreate a battle and cause an almighty mess. About to clean things up before Mr Barker arrives home, Bill and Roy notice that one soldier is missing - a little drummer boy.
